Usually a spokesman for the left wing, O'Donnell speaks about the third party option particularly for those of us who live in states that are not up for grabs in the Presidential race.

He says that if you live in a state that is not a battle ground state, you should seriously consider voting 3rd party.

    I agree.

Anyone opposed to Obama's drone warfare and Gitmo should vote for Jill Stein over Obama.

I hate this caveat on third party voting. We should all vote third party just to say "no" to the big government madness.

Laurence O'Donnell can kiss my ass. I'd vote third party even in an up for grabs swing state because someone has to say "no" to these (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s or they will only grow in hubris and in strength.

I think everyone should vote for Gary Johnson.

However, I really want to see the media forced into reporting third party results. Just to get the message out there to more people would be a victory for liberty.

Yep. I voted for Gary Johnson and many other Libertarians yesterday. Where there were no Libertarians, I simply didn't vote.

I couldn't agree more and I an voting for the President. I watched the third party debate with great interest and know that many good ideas have come from candidates who were not associated with either 'major' party. I was impressed with Gary Johnson he made a very good and persuasive argument for his his positions. There are areas where we have common ground.
Unfortunately I think he is wrong about a lot. That doesn't mean I'm going to ignore him or the contribution he makes to the political discourse.

So nice to see a pundit on a major cable news network show general support for third party candidates! Lawrence is so cool! :) I'll be voting for Jill Stein in solid blue Illinois. Can't say I'd cast the same vote if I lived in a swing state however; a Romney administration just scares me way too much!

If you're a liberal, vote for Jill Stein, if you're a conservative, vote for Gary Johnson, regardless of whether or not you're in a swing state. No need for any real liberal or conservative to vote for a hawkish authoritarian corporatist like Obamney.

By usually do you mean ever waking moment of his adult life?

Always a spokesman for the Left......which is why like most Leftists he wants to Divide the people and Empower the State....which would be the only thing ever accomplished by third parties.

Funny, you would think The Democrat Party would usually be a spokesman for The Democrat Party huh?

If you don't live in a swing state, feel free to go with your principals and vote for a third party candidate. Your vote is not really going to count anyway, so no big worries about it siphoning off votes from your "better of two evils" main party candidate.

Precisely, This is why he's doing it. It's his last ditch attempt to skew the results to lessen any mandate.
