How wound up and angry are the conservative posters on this forum?

Not too bad. I mean when Santorum was saying preschool was socialist brainwashing. And the pizza guy honestly thought the entire US budget could be put on a file card and they were actually considered good candidates you know your party is in trouble.

No that is why we want them out. They are not dying for Obama they are giving their lives for their country. Just like they were when Bush sent them there. Or when they died then was it okay? Just wondering.

Well yeah, Hannity and Rush misinformed their listeners right up to election day. But they tricked themselves too. Hannity had such a mental collapse that he came out for amnesty last week. As if that would have gotten a single extra vote for the Republicans! Ha!

Mr. Tea I will concede that at times the Dems are just as bad as the GOP. But rather than just say that are you ever going to address the main topic of this board? Do you think the party is in trouble? Do you think they are going to suffer in the years to come? Are they doing okay?

And just so you know before you go off. I am a strong fiscal conservative. Many on MSNBC are a bit left for my taste. You favorite lesbian Rachel, Ed Shultz, Sharpton. I like Mathews Basher at times is okay. But the think keeping me so far away from the GOP is the social issues. And despite what they claimed in 2010 about a mandate from the people regarding jobs they didn't do too well on jobs. Instead they loaded the congress down with anti abortion, anti gay, anti union bills. How do any of those help jobs?

I honestly believe that if they don't back away from this extreme social conservative mind set the GOP once great party of Reagan, Goldwater, Ike, Nixon, Teddy R. Etc will crumble under the influence of Ryan, Cantor, Paul, etc....

Well, queen salomon doesn't post on this forum, but she's rabid enough to attempt killing her husband over the election results.

Most Americans who died in Afghanistan have died since Obama became president. All of them died in vain for a defeated cause. All the Americans who died in Afghanistan when Bush was president died in vain.

All the Americans who died in Iraq died in vain for nothing. (*)(*)(*)(*) the US.

So we were in Afghanistan for eight years pre-Obama, but more deaths happened in the last four? I would be very interested in your source on this. That aside. I agree that both wars have been in vain. But it seems to me like you are just wanting to blame Obama at least that is what your first post led me to believe. It was the leftist word that made me think that.

I think casting them as the next Whig party is a bit much at this point. It's flip flopped quite a bit since 2008, with the Dems on the ropes in 2010, then the Repubs on the same ropes in 2012. What is telling is that the Dems didn't try to disillusion themselves that they were going to continue the dominance of congress in 2010. If the right people step in on the Republicans side, they could see a rebirth if they do it right.

But so far, all the blame casting, even going as far as to blame the intelligence of the American voter, to question the morals of the American voter is not the way to attract supporters. If that continues, then definitely they are doomed.

The country is quickly becoming a true multicultural nation with Hispanics growing at an astounding percentage of the population. Read an interesting article about California, how there is now a super majority in the state legislature for the Democrats and it is so strong that all the republicans can do is sit back and twiddle their thumbs at this time. Most of it due to the increasing number of Hispanic, Asian and Black people in the state. And you know the old saying, so goes California, so goes the nation. And most of these immigrants and minorities are doing the only thing they feel they can to fight back against Republicans who constantly knock on them, they vote Democrat.

Just look at the conventions for the truth of the matter, Democrats had about every color easily represented in any panoramic view of theirs. While the republican one was pretty much a white snowfield with a couple dark spots here and there.

I think you are right that so goes California, so goes the nation. We are seeing the blue model collapse in that state, and once there is a national Democratic supermajority, we'll see it collapse on a national scale.

    Enjoy!
