Whoa!!! I never thought I'd see this or hear someone say it! Its funny because this is exactly how I as a conservative view the left. I've never heard an argument from the left that was based in reason or solid logic. I've only heard liberals spout emotion and rhetoric.

They may be, but they lack common sense, don't know the difference between right and wrong and are forever attacking the rich out of envy and a sense of being inept in becoming successful all on their own. Take a peek at my avatar if you're looking for the symbol of someone who posssesses all the traits of success, of leadership, of tough grit and of American patriotism that all you libs sorely lack. :)

People of higher education are typically liberal.

    Illiterate people are typically conservative.

I find this fact very telling.

There was actually a thread here that showed the states with the lowest high school graduation rates voted for Romney and the highest typically voted for Obama.

I shall see if I can find it.

    Reminds me of a story.

"I was visiting my neighbor's house and they are two very nice, but VERY liberal people who prefer tofu over ribeyes. Their precious little girl came up to me and said, "When I grow up I want to be the President!"

I told the little girl, "That's a very good goal. Why do you want to be president?"

The child replied, "If I were the president I would make sure all the homeless people are fed and have houses to live in."

I told the girl, "That's very kind of you. But you don't have to wait until you are president. You can come over and mow my lawn and rake the grass up and sweep the driveway and I will pay you twenty dollars. Then you can go buy some food and take it to the homeless people."

The little girl looked a bit confused and asked, "Well, why can't the homeless guy mow the yard and you can just give him the money instead?"

I said to the young lady, "You will make a FINE conservative some day."

Her parents haven't spoken much to me since.

    The end.

Liberals are ideologues who irrationally believe that the government is responsible for fixing every single problem in society regardless of the consequences. Conservatives are people who irrationally believe that government is the root of all evil in society and that any regulation that maintains safety standards and fair competition is an infringement someone's rights. Extreme liberals and conservatives are equally retarded.

yes we is for the following reasons.

Liberals support morals and rights that promote a greater society rather than the individual rights that harm the collective. This is smart because it increases GDP or gross domestic product with such policies like raising taxes, affirmative action, and stimulus measures of printing money to increase the supply.

These policies then increase the workforce or consumer bases respectively, which drive up demand for more businesses to create products.

before i throw my stats into the picture, are these stats saying that these people are from their state or are they saying there are more bachelors degrees handed out in those states???

    is it

20.1% of people from the state of Mississippi get their bachelors degree

    or

20.1% of students going to college in Mississippi receive a bachelors degree

    ???

but yeah they are very telling, because the states with the lowest have 1 common denominator especially with California. New York though does throw in for kind of a curveball, but thats a bad thing for your claim. but i just want you to confirm my question about these states anyways, but the outcome i promise doesnt change.

anyways im gonna make this simple and leave data behind. the southern states at the bottom have one thing in common, they are more diverse with blacks and hispanics than anywhere in the nation. and what do blacks and hispanics have in common??? they have the highest drop out rates out of any other groups in the nation. Basically New York and California make my point as well, those 2 states each hold over 2 million african americans, and both of those states are at the bottom of the list for high school diplomas, california falling further because of their hispanic population.

Isnt it funny how the states with mostly lily white people and not a high concentration of blacks or hispanics make it to the top of the list in both categories and the states with the most diversity are at the bottom??? no its not but thats just the way it is because 2 groups hold those states back as far as graduation rates and well just about anything else.

and who do blacks and hispanics vote for??? thats right, liberals. who do whites vote for???? they are split between liberal and republican. the Southern states, along with the blue states of New York and California are prime examples of why certain states, red or blue, scored very low on your graphs. Hell just look at New Mexico, highest percentage of Hispanics out of any state, and they 2 are at the bottom of the list and that state voted for Obama.

so how can anyone say liberals are smarter than conservatives when a big voting block of the liberals account for the biggest group of high school drop outs???

    http://www.blackdemographics.com/

    http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a7/Census-2000-Data-Top-US-Ancestries-by-County.svg

here is a web page that goes state by state that monitors all states by graduation rates and the demographics on how each race keeps up. go ahead, see who the problem with our graduation rates are, it sure the hell isnt white people.
    http://www.all4ed.org/about_the_crisis/schools/state_cards

    my final word:

this is not a liberal or conservative issue, this is a issue of racial demographics. and as a Hispanic i am seriously appalled at the findings, i hate having to bring it up because hispanics have bigger drop out rates than anyone.

but thats the truth in a nut shell, you can take it as me being racist if you want, but the states dont lie. certain states suffer graduation rates because of their concentration of blacks, hispanic or both. so yeah, once again just remember who hispanics and blacks vote for, i think that alone is proof of their failing education.

In general Liberals are more intelligent than Conservatives. What does this mean? Nothing.

It's like how Christians tend to give more to charity. If you believe Big Brother God is watching you you'll probably give more to charity. Similarly, if you're of high intelligence you probably think you can change the world through regulation and the such.

Also, mainstream Conservatives in the United States are vehemently anti-civil liberties, and that's a pretty easy position to criticize if you have half a brain.

Your attempt to make this a race issue is pathetic.

    Typical conservative.

Liberals are typically more intelligent than conservatives, deal with it (just look at the top and bottom ten).

lol nice, i knew you would pull the race card. i dont make up the facts and im not lying about where these people live. hell look at Detroit, a highly democrat ara and only 7% of 8th graders are proficient at reading.

plain and simple, blacks and hispanics vote high majority liberal, both groups account for the highest amount of dropouts. your stats prove nothing, my stats that you want to dance around and claim as racist for telling the truth prove a point.

i am hispanic, so how am i being racist????

i accept your baseless comment with no real statement of facts as your defeat.

Thank you for revealing the uneducated or inaccurate liberal mindset when it comes to life's experiences and or beliefs as I highlighted in the OP.

You say liberals support morals and rights that promote a greater society. I nearly fell off my gold plated armchair after reading that piece of hogwash. A moral liberal (oxymoron) makes about as much sense as
me calling a liberal an advocate for cutting taxes. Where is the liberal morality in aborting/murdering our children and our future generation? Where is the liberal morality when allowing adult men to have sex with minor boys, i.e. memberships in NAMBLA? Where are the liberal morals when you take down any or all of our Christian symbols of peace? How is it moral to over tax and or to redistribute wealth from one person to another?

And could you give me a couple examples of how our individual rights are harming the socialist run collective? The fact is that our individual rights are getting eliminated on a daily basis so as to ensure that the collective stays mired in a mediocre and stagnant lifestyle. And I'm not surprised that a socialist such as yourself believes in raising taxes, affirmative action that leads to reverse discrimination and a dumbing down of our workforce, and more government spending via porkulus plans that do nothing more than to pay off obama's cronies and bury America deeper in debt. Yeah, liberals are so much smarter than we Conservatives, but at least I'm not sitting in the corner with my thumb up my arse while wearing an economic and moral duncecap.

"The person who wrote the article claiming liberals are smarter already had a conclusion in mind, and then he devised reasons to fit that conclusion. He worked backward."

isn't that the how Intelligent design was created?
