Didn't he tell police that people have broke in homes before and always got away before the police came? I think I heard him tell someone that. That could show why he followed him as not to lose him before the police arived. As I understand it, he was talking to police less than two minutes before the shooting.

You're not going to find any posts of mine where I was cheering for or against Zimmerman..... I can easily wait until the trial and even then, not watch it, but you obsessed libs can't.

Martin was a 6'2" 17 yr old teenager - that is not a 'child'....

Now m/b when you were 17, you tho't of yourself as a 'child', but as a rule, 17 yr old teenage guys do NOT........

He did say that. The problem is that Martin was not committing any crime and, by Z's own admission, not seen committing any crime.

My opinion doesn't matter. But by Z's own call to the SPD he referred to Trayvon as a "teen" and as a "kid".

That's true. But it's also true according to what he told police is the guy look suspicious, looking at homes as he walked and being he was not a regular resident in the neighborhood, Zimmerman wondered if he should even be there and wanted police to check him out. Being on the neighborhood watch as he was, it's understandable, where it might not be to some others. Just telling it as what I would say if I was his lawyer. I think he could give jurors plenty of doubt as to how the boy got shot.

He also lied to a court of law and conspired to deceive a court of law. If z takes the stand, his testimony will be suspect.

Do you have a point here? People call teens 'kids' and kids 'teens'...

Montoya called TM 'an innocent child'...

never mind.... it's over your head and I'm not explaining this step-by-step...

No reason to get frustrated. I'm only relating Z's own words which the jury will also hear.

You must be confusing a member of this forum with Zimmerman?

Your a good person, Marine1, but in this case you are trying to hard to fit a square peg into a round hole! It is very clear how the kid got shot. . .. Plenty of evidences, and even an admission of who shot him! Even the timeframe of this sordid story is against Z.

Who shoots an unarmed kid within 2 minutes of approaching him, within 15 minutes of first setting eyes on him, knowing for sure that the police was on it's way?

I thought Z would have gotten a fatal dose of lead poisoning by now.

Pretty much, Zimmerchrist stalked, harrassed, and threatened a 17 year old child. It was Martins right to stand his ground and fight back against a violent attacker with a gun.

And who would that be? Let me guess, you think that a bloody nose, two small scratch on one's face, and two small abrasions on one's BOLD head are signs of a terrible beating?

My kids got more than that playing with friends in a schoolyard!

If the police had even STARTED evan a manslaughter charge against Zimmerman, and dropped it a few months later, this case would not have raised a peep on the national scene, just one more dead black teenager.

But to send Zimmerman home the SAME NIGHT, no bail, no nothing? That is how this made the national news.

C'mon, Grok, doesn't he get to play by the Right's rules? Proof is only required from those claiming it's a lie!!!

Hell, I learned that one from talk radio, FOX, and church.

I'm actually surprised this isn't a Capital trial. In Texas, stalking your victim is a Capital offense that ends with an Injection (or in Florida, Ol' Sparky). I think Zimmie got his lucky break already with the charge not being a Capital charge.

I disagree. I feel the playing field should be level. The Right and the Church are never required to back up their claims with evidence, only those who refute the Right or the Church.

No more double standards. The Right wants to make the rules, don't (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and moan when others play by them.

At this point in the game, with all that has been said and done, I find it unlikely that he'll be able to get a deal for less. I think the plea will only be for the number of years.

    Right.....

Walk down Hill Street after dark, someone is stalking you, Mr. Jarhead.... What do you do?

I hear Hill Street has gone way downhill since I lived at Camp Pendleton in the early 80's, but, I think you get my point.

Or if you are black, try walking down the street after dark in Fallbrook with all them skinheads, and you get stalked... What do you do?

I think the Jury will buy the prosecution argument that the kid had a natural reaction to being stalked.

There is another problem. Z's police history shows a history that ANY black person was "threatening".

And what would you do if someone was stalking you? My money is that you would confront them.
