Paul seems to me suffering from tea party blues. I feel we have lived through the experience of watching a third party attempt gone bad.

It seems rather than go the Libertarian route and go it alone in hope the message would resonate, they tried to bend an existing structure to a direction unsupported by the majority making both weaker.

The Tea Party is flailing in the sand, gulping for air, and will soon be cooked.

I agree for the most part. Ron Paul did the same thing for 30yrs and said the same things for 30 yrs and in the end, he left with the same 10% support he had when he started. Ross Perot actually had more support than Ron Paul in his short stint.
This is simple math, there is not enough republicans let alone true conservatives to support the republican party as it is if the party splits they slice their own throat.

 

Ending our income tax on real persons by ending our warfare-state political-economy and limiting our use of socialism to the common defense and general welfare of the United States is what supply side economics can always be about.
