Several Dead in Southern California Shooting Spree 2/19/13

Don't tell us about a country you know nothing about. I'm typing this from inner London, England right now and the violent crime rates here are through the roof. Ever here of Operation Trident? Thought not.

As someone who is right in the thick of urban life in the UK, I'd say we need a 2nd Amendment of our own.

England does have violence, but their superior welfare expenditures limit their crimes along with their gun ban.

So in comparison to the US, England does have a safer society due in relative good part to its gun ban.

America can stem crime in two ways, a gun ban, and secondly increasing welfare payments to the poor so they don't have to commit violence for food and other miscellaneous expenditures.

 

What other welfrare goodies--excuse me---rights should the welfare class be entitled to?

Besides free: housing, medical, education, food, cellphones, utilities and cash---what more else?

Should they also get free tattoos, drugs, alcohol and a new Lexus to keep them from doing crimes?

 

I know liberals are lazy and don't like math. So, I've done the research and math for you...

U.K. Crime Rate...

6,523,706 (Total U.K. Crimes)
------------------------------- = 10.3%
63,181,775 (U.K. Population)

 

England's crimes aren't as deadly as US crimes, they have a gun ban that is the difference.

English men may steal breeches from the stores, but not shoot each other ..

 

the UK had 2060+ violent crimes per 100,000 population, that number in the U.S. is 466.

 

A heartily agree it has to stop, but what do the latest mass shootings have in common?...............................

If you want to stop the violence here is where we should start.

 

Is this the same Britain that did not bow down to Germany unlike France and other European countries? The same Britain that would rather fight to the death than loss its freedom?

Within one generation, is this the same country that now allow common criminals to take advantage of its own citizens. its own sons' to be maimed by knifes and assaulted by gangs; its daughters to be raped and murdered? is this the same Britain that now PROHIBITS its own law abidding citizen to protect him or herself.... what the f*cck happened to Britain?????

 

I really don't know. The RAF with a small amount of planes and men went up against the Luftwaffe and held 'em off. That took guts.

 

The 20-year old killer, and part-time college student was given a shotgun by his father last year. He spent most of his time playing video games. He had no record of being violent or unstable other than he was somewhat of a loner. Without a gun he would not have been able to kill like he did.

 

I guess it you believe that , but the evidence points to the contrary.

 

Seems to me that the common denominator in these killings is gun possession. And in most cases the killers would have passed a background check.
