LOL...that question made me think of a Miss America contest. All I want is world peace. Or whirled peas, or something like that.

It was sweater weather for sure this morning. Down in the 50's, lower humidity, and it's just now 72 out there. Chill of an early fall. Isn't that a Clint Black song?

Unless you mean 'smarts' like how to get away with robbing an armored car, I'd rather have money than knowledge. Now if I was 20 it might be a different story but for my age, I'm as smart as I need to be. I try to tell my bosses that at work, but they still make me go to frigging training classes!!

 

I buy a lottery ticket every week to cover all bases just in case..lol.

Nah, I spent all day wishing it was Friday. Nearly convinced myself there for a min.

I remember the good ole days when I was off every other Friday. Now I'd have to work 4-10s to get off on Fridays. No way, Jose.

Only three days of work this week, and it seems longer than a normal week.

A cool 69 degrees out there right now. Loving this Ozark weather!

 

Seems to have cooled down in many places. Makes for a good night sleep, open windows, enjoying a cool breeze.

 

Yes! I love it when it's cool enough to need to snuggle under the covers....

OK...it's a ghost town here today, with move in for the kids coming this weekend, so we're closing up. Y'all have a great weekend!

Sorry Bossier & the Red River. Maybe a long weekend sometime, but not a 5-dayer. Especially when I found out the g/f only likes to play slots & video poker so I'd be sitting at the card tables by myself anyway. Beach wins... hands down.

Yes, its my fav getaway. In fact, I was just there in May, but I went by myself on that trip (fly/drive)... had a ball. We'll be driving this time since I'll have company. Looking forward to the getaway... I shoulda been born a sand crab... shut up falena. LOL

 

Anything ocean is like a magnet for me. It wouldn't bother me one bit to sit there all day looking at nothing in particular.

 

I think the ocean renews the spirit. Love walking down the beach... every wave has the potential to bring in something interesting.

But for swimming, prefer the pool. Every wave can also bring in something that can eat you!
