Uh....conservatives are not the president of the United States. It only shows what a divisive non-leader Obama really is

Did they provide any examples of late invitations? This event has been in planning for well over a year. Cantor found it more important to go check out fracking in North Dakota and speak to Alec than participate in the event.

no, its not really. Its another partisan attempt to make something out of nothing once again.

Boehner was invited. Cantor was invited. In fact the entire republican leadership was invited. And who showed up? Oh right nobody.

This was essentially a Democrat fund-raiser...........why would they invite any Repubs/Conservatives. By the way, I hear that about 8000 people showed up for this momentous event to honor Michael King.....

If the black race hustlers don't want some Republican to attend then they can't expect any Repubs to show up.

    nonsense.
Obama had nothing to do with the organization of the event.
To attempt to "pin" a charge of divisiveness on Obama is nothing short of cheap partisan theatrics.

The black race hustlers didn't want conservative Republican Tim Scott because he refused to join their racist blacks on organization.

He lives the dream of a colorblind society and the lib black race hustlers don't.

why do you insist that Scott wasn't invited when the truth is that every member of congress was invited? Oh,right, never mind.

Your original assertion, since proven false, was that the CBC would not allow Scott to join.

I have searched the internet high and low and have found nothing that states that non black members are barred form the CBC. If you have a link supporting your statement, that the CBC refused to allow non black members to join then I will review it with an open mind when you present it.

He was not excluded from the event. The event was open to the public.

Again, this statement also appears to be false. Again, if you have a link supporting your statement then I will review it with an open mind when you present it.

Well if you wait a day in politics you usually find out the truth, Scott was invited to the event but not as a speaker, however the entire republican leadership was also invited and invited to speak they also chose not to attend. So I guess the question is who was talking out of who's arises?. It seems to me correct me if I am wrong, that the republicans did not do well in the last couple elections on getting the Black vote, I am sure by snubbing them that will correct the problem, your thoughts?

Post the quote where I said that because I never did.

Scott refused to join the segregated black caucus because its a racist organization.

You could not have looked very hard if you failed to turn up the story of white lib Democrat Stephen I. Cohen.

He won a seat in Tennessee that was majority black and he vowed to join the Congressional Black Caucus but they refused to admit him.

Its the conundrum Repubs/Conservatives always face with the black community.......if a Repub Presidential candidate speaks before the organization for colored people they are booed.......if they don't come and speak they are called racisssss. The Repubs just need to understand that blacks and lower class Hispanics hate them and will never vote Repub......so just forget about that voting block and appeal to their White base.

More racist lies from the right wing noise machine. It is so sad that so many people who follow the right wing noise machine are so like sheep. They bleat like little sheep every lie they are told by the likes of O'reilly and Hannity and that fat drug addict I can't remember his name. It is sad for America.

    Here you go.

That statement is a blatant falsehood.

    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0107/2389.html

At no point was he refused admittance to the CBC. He claims they did not want him, but at no point was he refused admittance.

Hilarious. Even though it will never happen, I'd love to see it just for the wonderful awkwardness.

Boehner, Cantor and all living Republican presidents were invited to speak....

of course no elected republicans could even be bothered to show up....why would anyone expect them to want to speak??

Oh goodness. The blinders must be a permanent part of the anatomy with liberals. What was the ratio of speakers who actually spoke, black to white ?

Was Sen Scott invited ? Such as Alan West or Ben Carson ? A single Conservative black ?

Do liberals ever tire of being this .....

your right they where invited a whole 12 days before the event. the reason that they where not invited any earlier was because everyone knows you need to get in contact with these guys months in advance because their schedule books up very fast. so in reality they where not invited they where not wanted there. the invite was a political ploy and liberals like usual fell for it.

As MLK was a Republican, how about we either demonstrate that they were invited. Or support your assertion that the didn't care to show up .... you mean as spectators ? .............. or finally face the fact that your argument is full of fart gas.

    Was MLK a "No Limit N i g g a" ?
