the tax rate in france is 75%, hows that?

Farm prices are fixed in france.

There no way out for farmers, the government control prohibit economic mobility, and general happiness.

Granted there has always been common wealth law, feudalism, capitalism, whatever. When people call such legislation "socialist" they are just showing their ignorance on such subjects. However, socialism is the bridge to communism. When people act as if it isn't socialism until the state controls everything, which is actually communism, I find it equally as annoying. Especially when in every argument with a leftist they will swear, until blue in the face, that communism and socialism are 2 different things. France is one of the European societies that leans towards socialism, especially when compared to the rest of the industrialized world. Yes, the article doesn't point to such correlations, but I can see why that would be incorporated into the argument of American rightists. However, the fact that every inch of the American farmer's life is state protected, to the fact ag is the only industry protected in all free trade deals, to the Mexican invasion protecting their right to not pay citizens what the market demands such labor is worth, dictates the argument on this subject is very silly.

Shell-shocked: Furious France farmers protest prices by smashing 100,000 eggs a day

Farmers in one northwestern province of France have a rather creative way of showing their objections to a recent government-backed price cut on eggs: They’re smashing 100,000 a day.

The farmers think doing so will force the government to lower its egg production mandates by 5 percent, which will then lower supplies and raise prices so they can make more money, BBC reported.

The 100,000 represents about 5 percent of the community of Brittany’s daily egg production — and they’re smashing them right outside the local tax office, BBC said.

Farmers have seen their production costs rise in recent months in part because of European Union animal welfare laws that mandate egg producers must use larger cages for their hens. That dictate went into effect in January 2012, and since, egg farmers have seen their revenues dramatically drop, BBC reported.

    .................................

Hows that for proving my point.

French commies force their farmers to commit suicide.

Is it? Or that is more ignorant made up crap? Besides that was not the question?
You asserted that what the farmers produce is held in common ownership? Can you support that? Or that too is something made up out of ignorance?

    Proof?

    Um, not really.

Subsidies exist in a lot of developed countries, and is not remotely indicative of Marxism.

Its socialism, its not marxism yet.

Marxism is the next step after socialism completely fails.

Dont you have any comment about the strife of farmers who cant make any money because theyre controlled by the government?

Arent there starving kids in africa who might like a egg breakfast?

When people work their butts off, and the government devalued their labor to zero, it makes em feel alone, and they kill themselves....

    Irrelevant drivel.

The word "socialism" is not mentioned anywhere, you either are imagining things or have serious reading comprehension issues.

    Not even remotely close

    who said anything about subsidies?

Its a government forced price cut, and an egg production mandate, and forced increase in egg production costs.

Its what is gonna happen to obamacare, so you best take notice.....

So bottom line is that you have nothing to support what you said. No problem, I was not really expecting anything from someone who has no clue what socialism, socialist or social mean.

"A proliferation of controls and administrative procedures" is socialism.

I don't see "social isolation" as "loneliness". As indicated in the link I provided of the corresponding larger issue of French suicides generally, people in rural areas have less access to social support structures such as treatment facilities.

Of course it is not. The existence of regulations is not socialism.

The French economy is over-regulated, and its the socialists who made it that way. Do you deny it?

The North Dakota Department of Labor claimed a small Bismarck farmer was not paying proper wages to his help and sent an agent out to investigate.

Department of Labor employee : I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them.

Farmer : Well, there's my farm hand who's been with me for 3 years. I pay him $200 a week plus free room and board.

Then there's the mentally challenged worker. He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here. He makes about $10 per week, pays his own room and board, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every Saturday night so he can cope with life. He also sleeps with my wife occasionally.

Department of Labor employee : That's the guy I want to talk to...the mentally challenged one.

Farmer : That would be me.

socialism is a unpopular and bad word...

so even socialist are abandoning the term, but maintain alignment with their views.

Do I deny your made up argument, that is not remotely provable one way or another? Sure. Why not. Now go fetch the number of regulations within the French government, who come up with all of them and what their political philosophy was, and what number of regulations is acceptable in your mind.

I want the exact number, what they all are, and the first and last names of everyone that came up with every single one.

Theyre progressives now, but progressive also includes a communist faction, like OWSers....
