Head palace eunuch and originator of the infamous 'journolist', Ezra Klein, has gone honest for a brief moment. On 'Morning Joe' today he told us all what we already knew - that Obamacare exchange roll-out was a miserable failure. Klein is quite possibly the #1 mouthpiece for administration agitprop, often getting a semi-private audience with The Boy King to discuss the color and amount of wool to be pulled over the eyes of the sheeple. For him to even lean toward the Dark Side is great news for the truth. Recall that yesterday the NY Times blew the whistle on this OFAIL although Bill Keller wrote 400 words of pure BS cover fire today to mitigate. The old guard press is cracking.
I know the distinction isn't that important to a right-wing used to polarized 1/2 truths perpetuated by their corporate funded media, but what he ACTUALLY says is that the Obamacare rollout has been a failure SO FAR and an argument can be made that it has been.
It's a Cheerio sized life preserver in a hurricane. Enjoy! It's a b-slap from Obama's #1 toady. Get used to fail.
No, there is no argument, the roll out is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing failure, there is no question about it. Common sense says that if it is this (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up to begin with what kind of cluster (*)(*)(*)(*) are we to expect come January 1st? Obama and democrats are absolute idiots not to take up the republicans on a one year delay, for one, it is not fair to give delays to some and not others, two, it is obvious this is going to be a mess and they could save themselves the embarrassment of total failure, plus they would then have something to blame the republicans for when it does roll out. Which I have no doubt they will do anyway, Obama is not man enough to own up to his own mistakes. The reality is, they would have a year to actually work with republicans to fine tune a working healthcare system, but we all know Obama will never reach across the aisle for that to happen.
The problems will get ironed out. The exchanges will be fixed. And Barack Obama will still be President. Live with it.
I am not a fan of the ACA at all, but relating the sign-up computer system to the program itself is disingenuous.
Why? Computer experts have made comment that it was destine for failure from it's inception. There are some very savy posters on this forum who have described why it was such a failure. What evidence do you have that says ACA come Jan 1 will work as it should?
Gee todd, a little testy today? Just because your president and the rest of the democrats are failures, doesn't mean you should take it out on me. Your wishful thinking has already cost the taxpayers $800 million for this website (*)(*)(*)(*) up, can you just imagine what the bill for healthcare is going to cost?
Oh it sure is!! It's just that it NEEDS 7 million to financially stand on it's own legs. I'm sure it's going to help a lot more than that though...we needed this. The "Millions and Millions"...of the rocks fans....
My point is that the sign-up system is totally separate from the program itself. If you want to argue that it is apt to be a failure also simply because it is government organized and controlled, I won't argue. But the sign-up computer system is a stand alone issue.
I think it's entirely fair to relate the roll-out disaster to general governmental incompetence. I think it's mandatory.
I understand that, but Obama's record has been dismal at best, just look how (*)(*)(*)(*)ed cash for clunkers was
