I just wish we had primaries and elections that were structured in alternative ways that didn't make 3rd parties spoilers.

For example, an instant runoff version of a primary would truly show who is the most favorable candidate rather than who happens to have the most loyal following.

An instant runoff version of an election would allow for more than just the big two parties.

I suspect you'll have Christy and Bush competing for one block of votes in the Republican base and Paul and Cruz competing for the other, then you'll probably have people that won't someone who isn't the obvious establishment pick but also isn't a Tea Party-type and those people will likely go with Paul Ryan. In the end I suspect the establishment to rally around Bush and the anti-establishment to rally around Paul. Paul seems more viable than Cruz, more "electable" thanks to Paul's outreach to broaden his base outside of the GOP. In 2012, if you remember, it was always basically Romney vs. the not Romney, with the "not Romney" cycling through everyone until there was no one left... from Bachmann to Perry to Caine to Newt to Santorum... But none of those candidates were viable and all were deeply flawed. Not true for the 2016 potentials. I think the anti-establishment voters will rally around one person and stick to them, although at first I think you'll have the Tea Party people polling evenly, namely Cruz and Paul. Rubio may be in there, too, but he's shot himself in the foot with that base largely because of his immigration stance. In other words, it won't be like 2012 where that base cycles between candidates, it'll be split until they rally around one and once they do -- after Iowa and New Hampshire -- I suspect they'll stick to that one. So, yeah, in other words Bush vs. Paul with Paul Ryan as the wild card.

Out of those four I think only Walker stands a chance in the primaries.

Eh, the two party system we have is just a smarter version of the umpteen party system in European parliaments. We just make the coalitions beforehand rather than jip people out afterwards.

You're counting out people like Rand Paul and replacing him with people ive never even heard of. Chris Christie wont win over the bridge scandal. Im a white nationalist but I'd rather have Hillary Clinton win than him.

Hillary might be a better president than Warren or certainly better than The Kenyan, but I would never pick the lying, murdering, bi-sexual Hillary over Christie! Geeez!

You are exposing your ignorance! There are several blacks that would be great in the WH! Obama failed! I call him The Kenyan because he has never proved he was born in the USA.

By the way, what is a "Polak?"

The residue of chronic crackpot "Birthers" is an embarrassment to the GOP to the amusement of partisan Democrats.

How many Presidents have "proven" their requisite nascency with more documentation than the incumbent? Challenge: Name one.

What makes the loonies even more entertaining is that the POTUS's mother's Kansas origin is sufficient to meet "natural born citizen" requirement the constitutional specifies according to the preponderance of legal interpretations. (Carnival Cruz, a prospective nominee for TPs, was born in Canada to an American mother and a Cuban father, so nicely exposes the rabid goons' partisan and/or racist agenda quite nicely.)

The wacko birds run up a GOP distress flag that alerts Americans everywhere. It drives the Party's establishmentistas batty.

    Long may it wave.

You're in such a tizzy because I just spanked you, but you deserved it.

Don't think your vapid bluster hides your inability to name a single president who has provided more documentation of his birth, and are at a loss to refute my valid observation concerning the President's mother satisfying the constitutional qualification, anyway - that which Cruz must rely upon.

I puncture a gasbag such as yourself with a couple of such pointed requests , and you deflate and collapse with a rude noise.

"Apples and oranges" comparison with Obama and Cruz, but I doubt if you are smart enough to see it.

Your "verbally spanking me" is the ultimate in wishful thinking on your part.

Where is the VALID documentation of Obama's birth that you speak of? :confusion:

How does a prospective candidate's qualifying for the presidency by dint of his mother's American nationality differ based upon your ideological preference?

You still have yet to name a single president who ever produced birth documentation as definitive as the incumbent has. Don't get so verklempt. As I had thought you finally understood, maternal citizenship makes Obama's Hawaiian birth is as irrelevant as Carnival's in Alberta.

    Have you relapsed?

You may well be the last of the Birther nutboys, so wallow in the distinction if that's the only distinction that you can hope for.

Do you really think conservatives would nominate a candidate that has no real chance in a general election? Too many Americans think the guy's a nutjob.

You are obviously a slow learner so I will explain it again.

First of all, the BC that Hawaii authenticated was only a copy. They verified that it was an authentic copy of what was on file, but they did not verify that what was on file was the original, hospital generated BC!

Secondly, IF Obama was born in Kenya, his mother did not meet a residency requirement that was in effect at that time. When Cruz was born years later in Canada, his mother met the residency requirement. I realize this is a technicality, but many would say Obama was "naturalized" rather than "natural born!" I realize that the definitions can be interpreted differently, but what I have outlined makes the most sense to me. Please don't lower yourself by accusing me of racism.

Again, I have not seen real proof of his being born in Hawaii.
