"The reaction from some of the Republicans, I've been told, is to downplay and insult the brave men and women of our special forces and the FBI," the Nevada Democrat said. "They're trying to say, 'Well, that's no big deal.' I wonder if the men and women who capture the terrorists agree with the Republicans that it's no big deal. Even in these days of polarization ... their reaction is shocking and disgusting." Reid appeared to be referring mostly to early tweets and web posts reacting to the arrest of Khatallah, who had been found and interviewed by reporters well before his apprehension. Among them, former Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) wrote: "Squirrel! Benghazi suspect conveniently captured to deflect attention from all the other nightmares." "They're so obsessed with criticism, criticizing anything that President Obama does, they'll go so far as to sit here and insult the men and women in uniform and in law enforcement ... They're insulting these good men and women who did some courageous things, heroic things, in order to criticize President Obama," Reid said. "I think they've lost touch with reality," he said. IMO: The republican toxic actions, statements, and disrespect for a sitting president is indeed disgusting and pathetic, and they are an insult to every patriotic American in their disgusting and treacherous actions toward the American people. No gender is safe from them as they insinuate themselves into the American way of life destroying everything in their path. They say they are conservatives but they are outright fanatics that want to bring America down to their level and that they will never do. There is major unemployment and that is because of republican obstruction. Women's clinics are closing because of ludicrous laws being laid down upon women's rights. Men have not been touched except for vast unemployment and obstruction if the minimum wage laws being stalled by republicans. There could be affirmative action jobs tomorrow, immigration reform, and realistic laws set down for women's heath issues except for the republicans obstruction, filibustering, and making the American people pay for the republicans' pathological hatred of President Obama. There is a major realm in the republican party who are women haters, Negro haters, and war mongers that want to destroy our government of the people and by the people and make it only of rich, white Americans exclusively and will never do anything constructive in Congress or the White House to help blacks, Latinos, or immigrants because they know the liberating force of votes that promises to free the vulnerable, poor, females, and destitute.
So can we break this whole thing up now? We are kind of tired of you leftists being parasites and then blaming your failures on everyone else.
If Reid wasn't the Democrat's majority leader he would be in the realm of Alan Grayson and Allen West by now. I think that says a lot about the state of the party.
