Secret Service 'Aware' of Apparent ISIS Flag Photo in Front of the White House.....

Well, it was just a matter of time before we would start seeing things like this. Ever since ISIL and their Leader stated they want to see their Flag Flying over the White house. I am surprised something like this didn't happen sooner. The reporter says if Authentic.....might be a clue with Secret Service, the FBI, and DHS all looking into the matter.....huh? What say ye?






The Secret Service said it is "aware" of a photo that appeared to show an image of an ISIS flag in front of the White House. If authentic, the photo showed a hand holding up an image of a flag for ISIS (also known as ISIL or Islamic State), displayed on a smartphone, on Pennsylvania Avenue in front of the White House fence. That area, closed off to street traffic, is frequented by thousands of tourists every day.

"We have an intelligence division whose mission is to assess information that we receive every day for dangerousness or potential threat level," Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told ABC News. "We are aware of the image and will take the necessary and appropriate follow up steps." The Secret Service did not respond to an additional question about whether the tweet was believed to be authentic. The FBI has not yet responded to ABC News' request for comment on the tweet, its suspected origin, or whether it signifies a serious threat to the U.S.....snip~

For all we know it could be photoshopped.

 

I see a picture of someone holding their phone, what am I suppose to see, could be anyone, a kid for that mater, who knows, prob left a ip trail though, not a flag like the title said....

Yeah, I dont get it either. I expected to see that someone dropped an actual flag there.....but it's just someone who had the picture open on their phone?





Well, I guess it's good they werent watching Independance Day on the phone, or maybe the story would have had to read "Aliens destroy WH"...

 

Yeah, that's why Secret Service, and the FBI as well as DHS is all looking into it. They know it comes from a Tweet. That's Twitter....easily followed.

I think what someone is trying to show is if you take a picture of the white house a picture of the ISIS flag pops up on your screen.

It was tweeted from an apparently pro-ISIS Twitter handle @sunna_rev on Aug. 9. A senior U.S. intelligence official told ABC that use of Twitter is consistent with ISIS practices. The group has shown to be at the forefront of social-media use among terrorist and militant groups, the official said.

Another photo displayed a note handwritten in Arabic. It read, "Soldiers of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria will pass from here soon," followed by a Koran verse that read, "and Allah is perfecting His Light even though the disbelievers hate (that)." In the image, the note was dated June 20, 2014. It was unclear where the photo was taken, but two American flags appeared over an arched entryway. "We are in your state / We are in your cities / We are in your streets," the tweets read.....snip~

They probably have it on camera. It being taken at night of someone photographing their phone as they hold it up shouldn't be that hard to distinguish. Taking a picture with a phone is common. Taking a picture of your phone as you hold it in front of you not so much. Probably not a crime, but a new addition to the watch list.

 

They must be hilarious linking ABC TV and the Hill then. They also link the Daily Beast, the Daily Caller. NBC TV FOX news and even Overseas news sources. Just to name a few. Imagine that.

It's a free country. I can stand in front of the White House and fly whatever flag I choose. At worst, the police will come along and tell me to leave. Just because ISIS are murdering (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)s doesn't mean anyone showing their flag can be arrested.
