It was another bad choice of words. I can see his point that we cannot declare war on Islam. We are not at war with Islam and we need Islamic countries and groups to join with us. He should have said something like "ISIL is not the Islam of peace and love and respect, this is a perversion of the religion and we call on the real Islamic religion and it's leaders to stand with us and oppose this abomination of the faith"

    - - - Updated - - -

He should have said "ISIL IS Islam and that is who we are at war with"?

No. The point is that people who compare televangelists to ISIS beheading thugs are clueless.

    Get it?

You mean we should actually start fighting them as the only means of stopping them? There are other means. I'm sure you know that, however.

How about a thug with a gun robbing a convenience store. Your lack of relevance is expected.

Some people talk as though these abortion clinics are being bombed or abortionists are being killed routinely. I can't remember the last time something like that happened. Now, I can point to many recent incidents of Islamic violence.

But I was not responding to a post about beheading, that is just your Straw Man. The question I responded to above asked how people can be deceived about their own religion, So again I was comparing the deceptions not beheadings. Maybe I should have used Jim Jones as an example.

BTW, you do know that beheadings are in the bible so it would not take much for a charismatic preacher to convince his flock to behead Muslims.

Nu 25:4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.

Actually I'm curious as to how that could be done. I've never seen those groups be very diplomatic or open to negotiation.....

He told Moses. Like I said, the violence in the Old Testament is limited to specific people, specific times, at specific places.

    Here Mr. Islamoapologist:

Actually, MOSES told his people that God told him. What is to stop a modern day Moses from making the same claim and having followers believe him?

    In a word, NOTHING!

"Modern day Moses"? The Moses in question is dead. Has been for a long time. There's not going to be another Moses.

It's funny to me that, because Muslims are non-white minority members, you just have an inner urge to defend them. To be their "white knight". Your white guilt is kind of pathetic to watch. You'd rather worry about Christians who may do something at some point than Muslims are committing chaos right now.

The Saudi's who are considered moderate Muslims by ISIS standards don't let women leave the house by themselves, and they can't drive cars, and they must cover up completely. And this is pretty standard practice for Muslims just about anywhere. Are you fine with a religion that practices a war on women?

Exactly. There is no limit to the illogical depths of the islamapologists, Obama especially.

" The Islamic state of Iraq is ' not islamic' "...what an idiot.

I guess when they should have put the full name on the teleprompters instead of just the acronym ISIL.

They clearly underestimated the dense weakness of the current POTUS, obviously.

I'd call him a politician. America doesn't want another war, so we're "not at war" even though we've been bombing the hell out that area for months and are now sending ground troops.

The war on terror is not another war, but rather a continuation of the war that goes back to the Carter presidency. It has mutated over the years and gotten more extreme, but the goal is the same, and that is to destroy the infidels where ever they live.

It has to take time. It cannot be done overnight. I think education is the key.

As I said before, Christianity has left the Dark Ages. We'll always have people sick enough in the head that will do the most atrocious things and look to religion as the reason or excuse. What we won't have is violence perpetrated in the name of Christianity like we see being espoused by the clergy in very high places within the Muslim religion. We won't have schools set up preaching intolerance, violence and murder, either.

NO ONE is buying Obama's Bull(*)(*)(*)(*) anymore; he can't talk his way out of very real problems, as he still, apparently, believes he can. Even the NY Times Left Cheer Squad cannot cover for him anymore:

Obama Faulted in Terror Fight, New Poll Finds

For the first time in his presidency, more Americans disapprove of President Obama’s handling of terrorism than approve of it, as discontent about his management of foreign affairs and the fight against Sunni militants in Iraq and Syria weighs on an anxious and conflicted public, according to the latest New York Times/CBS News Poll.

As Mr. Obama broadens the military offensive against Islamic extremists, the survey finds broad support for United States airstrikes in Iraq and Syria, but it also demonstrates how torn Americans are about wading back into battle in the Middle East. A majority is opposed to committing ground forces there, amid sweeping concern that increased American participation will lead to a long and costly mission.

With midterm elections approaching, Americans’ fears about a terrorist attack on United States soil are on the rise, and the public is questioning Mr. Obama’s strategy for combating the militant organization calling itself the Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Most respondents say the president has no clear plan for confronting the group, and that he has not been tough enough in dealing with it.

I'm curious, how do you feel about the concept of Christian terrorists? We have domestic Christian terrorists in the US. Do you acknowledge that they are Christians?
