When one invokes scripture, it would be reasonable as a means to encourage support in Congress for a national course. Thus it might spice the debate such that our Congress might then, thru compromise, reach an amicable end product. But Obama simply quoted the scripture and then shoved it down our throats, mocking our first amendment right, as well as betraying the stark hypocrisy of the self righteous Democrat party who while pretending to be the first amendments valiant defender, is actually its blood stained murderer. BTW, the devil can quote scripture too.

Coming from THE LEAST religious president we've had in a long time....it does seem hypocritical that now....on this issue.....he pulls out the religion card. Some Advisor must have told him that he'd score even more points with Hispanics, since many are religious.
