It would seem Democrats don't think people will play back the lies they tell, which makes people like you believe the crap they keep telling.
Even Clinton admits Pelosi lied and Democrats refused to go along with Republicans in putting regulations on F/M & F/M
At least for a few years now it is proper to say Obama-Boehner. Spending originates in the House of Representatives. It does not originate with prior presidents.
republicans controlled Congress under Clinton and Bush, they are to blame for any legislation passed - - - Updated - - - so when republicans say the ACA is going to cost us trillions they are lying cause they really don't know either .
Most of the jobs being created won't pay a living wage and we might be ending two wars, (Bush ended the first one). But Obama has us locked in another with the ISIS that will go on for years with little chance of winning it the way Obama is fighting it. One which will cost us billions to fight.
So the GOP blames Obama - anyone see the State of the Union Address? Obama and Democrats have been blaming the GOP. It's a back and forth blame game, pretty much always has been, and the public goes back and forth on who they believe the blame lies with. As far as courting the women's vote - look, politicians don't have to be pro-choice to win the votes of women. Women are 46% pro-life, and 47% pro-choice. That's pretty much down the middle - for women. Now late term abortion is an abortion perform later than 20 weeks in pregnancy. Only 22% think it should be legal, while 72% think it should be illegal. As far as KXL, poll after poll shows the general public supports KXL. And the number who strongly support it is much larger than those who strongly oppose it. It seems that, for once, the GOP is actually positioning itself well in the PR battle.
Iraq. A deal was made with the Prime Minister of Iraq for a day of American pull out. Wasn't what Bush wanted, as he wanted to keep several thousands troops there in case they would be needed. But the Prime Minister had pressure on him from within for a full withdraw, which Obama did. Problem is they believed if fighting flared up, Iraq could be talked into bringing in troops. But Obama wanted to wash his hands of Iraq and didn't try.
I am usually correct. We are not ending any wars. They are raging all about us. The One on the golf course has moved our troops off distant battlefields. Now we will fight at home. The One, and his followers, are fools.
Why did Obama see fit to go with NATO to take out the government of Libya and not replace it with another? We could have had someone to call for help when our embassy was attacked and our personal murdered. Now Libya is over run with terrorist. It's worse off than before. If Obama had given air power to Iraq over a year and a half ago when Iraq asked for it, when the ISIS was coming down that desert highway from Syria to Iraq, this problem would have been over in a matter of hours instead of years. All he had to do was do what Bush Sr. did when Iraq left Kuwait on that desert highway going back to Iraq. They were sitting ducks, but Obama refused. Refused when they got back on those desert highways going from town to town.
The 1997 bill lowered capital gains..........you know where all the rich people get richer. My point still stands. If the 1993 tax increases are what caused it............why did it take 5 years?
Well, since Obama wants to put his stamp on everything that does get done, who else should Rep's blame? And lets be clear here, Rep's have only held both for less than a month, so it's a bit premature to criticizes them for what they haven't done, isn't it? I mean, come on, Reid spent more time spewing hate for the Koch's than debating legislation, and now all the sudden you're concerned about what Congress gets done????? Yea...OK.
that's funny considering how the gop tried to take credit for an economy they've been trying to obstruct
The American people stopped buying this hogwash a couple of years ago. Once they realized that "if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor" was a bold faced lie they dumped any support or confidence in Obama. The proof is the shellacking dems took in the mid terms. It was called historic losses for democrats. Now the liberal media is working on damage control to try and preserve the Obama legacy.....what there is of it. LOL!
Before that it was Republicans shouting BLAME CLINTON! - - - Updated - - - Obama - super success compared to Bush and the Republicans. Every real patriot agrees.
Your point fails. Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 was called the "biggest tax increase in history" and the 1997 didn't touch anything but capital gains taxes. The Biggest Tax Increase in History The economy boomed and the debt was further paid down due to the increase in tax revenues.
They took credit for a bounce after the election, but it didn't take the GOP to obstruct Obama's economy, he did fine using O'care + his pen & phone.
