Ya, but where does it substantiate your claim that women get abortions out of sheer laziness? I don't see that in your stats.

Recently, in Michigan, a sixteen-year-old boy was charged with beating his (also teenage) girlfriend in the abdomen with a baseball bat and thereby terminating her pregnancy.

The unnamed boy, whom I will call "Johnnie Doe," is charged under a Michigan statute passed in 1999. That statute defines as a felony the intentional commission of an act against a pregnant individual, "f the conduct results in a miscarriage or stillbirth by that individual, or death to the embryo or fetus."

This felony is ordinarily punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment. However, because of Johnnie Doe's age and his lack of prior crimes, his alleged acts fall within the jurisdiction of the juvenile courts.

The pregnant individual in this case - whom I will call "Janie Roe" - allegedly asked her boyfriend Johnnie to help terminate her pregnancy by hitting her in the abdomen. Reportedly, Johnnie went along with the plan, the six-month-old fetus died, and the couple buried the body.

Every abortion carries the risk of severe complications, even death. How many women in the world are forced to have abortions? How many woman are forced to have abortions by abusive husbands or boyfriends, sex traffickers, or oppressive governments? Abortion may be used more often as a weapon against woman than a voluntary procedure.

Why do we need abortions now that we have the morning-after drug?

The alternative to having your baby is not taking responsibility for your actions by having an abortion.

The percentage of people having premarital sex does not justify abortions. Of course Christians, conservatives and "pro-life" women have abortions. Like the rest of society, they are pressured or talked into abortions, or are scared into having abortions. Many women become Christians, conservatives and pro-life because of the awful experience of having gone through an abortion.

What doesn't the government regulate? The government has the moral duty to protect the citizens and that includes their right to life.

Look under 'elective' meaning not needed. Too lazy to raise a kid, too lazy to use contraception, but not too lazy to kill the fetus. No more laughter?

Abortion is 14 times safer than childbirth. If abortion were illegal, do you think abusive husbands/boyfriends and sex traffickers wouldn't force women have dangerous illegal abortions or even kill them?

A government that forces birth is oppressive.

Because some women thought they were protected but their regular contraception failed.

Because some girls/women are not even aware of the morning after drug.

Because it is too expensive for some women.

Because it has a very limited window of effectiveness, and if the woman is already pregnant, it doesn't work.

Meaning "your actions" were bad, so you must "take responsibility" by being punished with pregnancy.

You must think women have no minds of their own?

Mostly they are Christians, conservative and pro-life BEFORE their abortions

Abortion is 100% deadlier than childbirth.

Average number of deaths after each abortion = 1.
Average number of survivors of childbirth = 2.

So making it easier to abuse women is better?

    Forced abortions is oppressive.

This is the 21st Century. No government is forcing women to get pregnant. There are multiple methods of preventing pregnancy. More than one can be employed. Most contraceptives don't work not because they are ineffective, but because they are not used properly. Most woman who gets pregnant unintentionally are negligent. Carrying the baby to term is taking responsibility.

Because they didn't take their pills or use the condom properly?
    Why?
Perhaps so they can keep those abortion mills going.
Yet after all those efforts to not get pregnant, nearly one million women still have to get abortions? It's like they are not even trying.
You should be punished, not for having a baby, but for aborting one.

Sometimes I think they are mindless, but I love them. It's men I'm not very fond of.

Because they are pressured, scared or persuaded by others to get an abortion.

Which is why we need a Constitutional right to life amendment.

Assumed premise. Prove zef is a person.

Making abortion safer for women is better.

Of course forced abortions are just as oppressive as forced birth. And some governments are forcing women to give birth.

Blaming women. There will always be unwanted pregnancies regardless of contraception, and women are not entirely to blame.

Bringing a baby into a bad environment is not responsible.

Blah blah blah, It's all the fault of the women.

Women should not be PUNISHED for either. Stop treating women like children, for chrissakes; they have a right to control their bodies and reproduction.

You think women should be controlled and punished, that's not love.

Because they have no mind of their own?

    Try it.

Percentage of women that die from childbirth is 0.0185%. That means 99.9815% of women survive childbirth. I wonder how many of those "pregnancy related deaths" are actually caused by abortions? Unfortunately, they don't separate out those statistics.

If people would take responsibility, there would be no need for abortions at all.

Getting pregnant unintentionally is extremely irresponsible and is intentional much more often than not.

But it is a good idea.
I wonder why the leftists haven't done a study?

The government does control women's reproduction. They regulate everything, and now, they even have control of your doctor and insurance. They privacy rights of Roe v Wade are gone now that the government has control of your health records.
Once again you are making a claim that is false. I never said that. That is a lie.

You capitalize God because it is proper/basic English. Those who don't capitalize the "G" in God, or the "C" in Creator, or the Almighty ect. are ignorant of how to communicate in English.

Yes, one can make the assumption based on facts.

Fact: If a woman has an abortion, 100% of the time, there is no childbirth, and no child is born.

Result: 0 Baby born (-1 human life)

Fact: If a woman does not have an abortion, 99.98% of the time, at least one child is born.

Result +1 Baby born (+1 human life)

Now, I don't know why you are calling a baby a zef, but, every baby born in this country is a citizen.

Abortions are not safe. Especially for the fetus, but many woman die from abortions.

Yeah, the Chinese are forcing women to have abortions, and ISIS is forcing women to give birth. I don't hear libs complain much about either.

    How hard can it be?

    Adoption.

The man shares the blame, and the responsibility.

Like nationalizing healthcare didn't give our rights over our bodies to the government? Ha!

Tough love. Half the unborn victims of abortion are women.

You don't have to put words in my mouth...those are your words.

    We will.

We do know how many deaths are caused by abortion complications. One in a million is .0001 %. While the death rate goes up for later abortions, we can blame the anti-abortion choicers for that since their zeal for regulations forces women to get them later.

    http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_induced_abortion.html

    • The risk of death associated with abortion increases with the length of pregnancy, from one death for every one million abortions at or before eight weeks to one per 29,000 at 16–20 weeks—and one per 11,000 at 21 weeks or later.[12]
    • Fifty-eight percent of abortion patients say they would have liked to have had their abortion earlier. Nearly 60% of women who experienced a delay in obtaining an abortion cite the time it took to make arrangements and raise money.[13]

    Abortion is responsible.

    Wow, Getting pregnant unintentionally is extremely irresponsible and is intentional! Who knew? {{sarcasm alert}}

Causing a woman to be pregnant unintentionally is irresponsible, so let's regulate men's bodies to put a stop to that. How about a mandatory snip after a man has caused two pregnancies?

You can blame exactly ZERO deaths of women due to abortions on Pro-Lifers. You don't get to blame us for something we fight against, and something you advocate for.

I can think of nothing more irresponsible than ending the life of your own child.

You are right, let me correct my imperfect English there. Should read: "Getting pregnant unintentionally is extremely irresponsible, but most pregnancies are intentional much more often than not."

Some people like big families. That is a personal choice. I am Pro-Choice on the issue of family size.

    I am Pro-Choice on vasectomies.

When your unnecessary regulations cause a procedure to be more dangerous for women, there will more deaths. You get the blame for the deaths when you advocate for regulations that cause more deaths.

It's responsible to prevent the creation of a "child" when one cannot or will not properly care for it. Abortion is prevention.

Actually, in this country, about half of pregnancies are intentional.

IOW, you are pro-choice on issues involving men, but not for women.

Abortion is only unsafe if you perform it. If you don't perform it, it is not unsafe.

Contraception is preventative. Aborting a pregnancy is ending the pregnancy. A child is created at conception.

Then perhaps women should be more careful to use contraceptives.

I am pro-choice for women to decide if they want to get pregnant.

Abortions have been around since mankind began walking upright. It would take drastic changes to end abortions. Such as perfect birth control, i.e. easy to use, reliable, and affordable.

    You're right so far...

    Oops, now you're not right.

Perhaps men should also be more careful. Perhaps, we, as a society, should be more careful to provide comprehensive sex ed for young people and make sure reliable BC is available.

Well, aren't you generous? What will women do with all those choices?

Life begins at conception and abortion is murder.

Just because Cain killed Abel doesn't mean that murdering people is therefore justified because it's been around a while.
