USA currently has the speculation of Hillary Clinton receiving money from suspicious foreign sources, ostensibly for political favors.

Now the Navy is embroiled in corruption charges related to award of ship provisioining contracts. What about all of the Pentagon's contracts? How honest is the bidding process and surveillance of contractor compliance and performance.

How many officials are unjustly and corruptly enriching themselves.

Rivers of money keep flowing upward against the force of moral gravity in USA society.

With the technology available to monitor suspicious activities that are available today you can rest assured that there is far less corruption today than at any time in America's history.

So we are going in the right direction.

20 years ago you never would have heard of any of these scandals.

As long as humans are running the show, no, there will always be corruption.

Of course no! Total destruction of something is just an utopia. It's nature, if person who earn enough money to live - he will try to earn more. If the person who earn more than others - he will try earn more too! Especially if this person seat in government !

Its like the police abuse issue that people think is so bad today.

Police are aware that pretty much every person is a walking camera, camera's on their cars, and camera's on almost every business. They know that whatever they do stands a good chance of ending up being documented so I have no doubt that police abuse has dropped from the days when a cop could basically do anything with no fear of it ever coming out.

I imagine that in the 70's there were far more police taking people behind a building for a little roughing up, far more than what happens today. We just hear about more cases today so people automatically think its getting worse when it is probably getting a lot better.

The Navy scandal is probably not really a scandal, but merely a way that the United States redistributes wealth around the world that is entrenched in poverty.

In the situations of political officers, and the retreaded Clintons, the problem has to do with the court system not prepared to handle such high profile defendants. We have this fantasy built up of the president or the department heads being arrested and booked, but that just is not going to happen, because the scandal is a broad scandal of people turning a blind eye to the misdeeds, because they want to protect the no-work job that they have. It is a big mess, and the solution is a new constitution that better defines the missions of the bureaucracies and the court that would exercise an impeachment trial.

Our current belief in the congress exercising an impeachment trial is absurd for several reasons. The congress members who are prosecutors do not have time to put together an investigation and then litigation, because of their responsibilities to their constituents - prosecuting a high profile case is going to be a full-time job, there will not be time to fly back home every weekend to meet with stupid constituents who believe they deserve more attention than the case load that the congressional prosecutor needs to prosecute the charges.

The constitution was written in 1787 and they did not know how to organize the court system, and since then the courts have been reorganized three times. Back then they did not have a legislative detail that we have now, and they could imagine holding an impeachment trial. Things did not move as quickly as they do now.

The solution is a new constitution. That is also the only way we can really "vote all of them out."
