Any Western country that lets these people in by large numbers is a country that does not have its or the citizenry's best interests at heart.

Only in small numbers are they harmless and peaceful. Their culture and religion is antithetic to the West. One only has to look at the Muslim majority nations. The women are oppressed; gays are murdered; adulterers stoned, etc.

Depends on where you are looking. In Europe, they are definitely the biggest threat at the moment. In the US, the spread of the Hispanic 3rd world and their influence on elections going forward will be the downfall.
Liberals have more tolerance for a culture that would behead them than they do for Americans who don't walk in lock-step with their political views and agenda. It's not about prejudice, it's about a threat to the country that Muslims and Islam pose. We have separation of church and state in the USA that Muslims would ignore. They are already demanding that their religion be accommodated in areas that religion plays no part, i.e., suing Disneyland and demanding restaurants prepare halal meat, etc. They want their religion to be accommodated instead of keeping it to themselves.

The greatest threat to the west isn't people stuck in an 8th century mentality, but rather those elites stuck in a Plutocratic mentality. When one sees the muslims as a greater threat than the greed of our elites, well, what can ya say? LOL I think the propaganda has worked really well, been wildly successful when people cannot see what the real threat is. The best thing we could do, in regards to the muslim, is just leave them the hell alone, get out of their lands, stop trying to change a culture that they are happy to have, or in other words, use just a little bit of intelligence. I'll take Mexican illegals before Muslims any day. At least they're Christian, don't plant bombs or behead people in the name of their religion, and contribute to the economy by working. They are a better fit in the US than Muslims are.

I'm not referring to the drug cartels, if that's what you're posting. The drug cartels are vicious, but I still think Islamic radicals are worse because they want to take over the world and force people to convert to their beliefs. The drug cartels fight for drug territory, and not in the name of religion. I'm referring to the everyday immigrants coming to live in the US.
If the question is "what will cause the downfall of the West", I view the two as the same. We can argue over which one will cause more problems during the process, but the end result will be the same, regardless.

To answer the question, only the west can be the downfall of the west. Our PC is our downfall. We are already falling from within. Its a slow process but I can see it even in my hometown. What was prime real estate 40 years ago is now drug infested dens of people leeching off the rest of us because we allow it. After all we don't treat these people like the scum they are we hold their hands and tell them its our fault they are effed up human beings. We let people walk across our borders, give our laws the middle finger and what did we do? We installed porta potties for them at the border crossings to make their invasion of our nation easier. You want to know the equation that history will show was the downfall of the west? Dumb + Political Correctness = Downfall of the great West. Its unimaginable to me that my fellow Americans not only willingly allow our nation to be invaded and our laws ignored but actually help them. They used to be called traitors, now we call them progressives.
On the local level, Muslims and Arabs are better to be around than mexicans. I am sorry, but they are more civilized. Despite the violent religion, mexican-americans commit more crimes than Arab-Americans by FAR. Arabs generally dont get into trouble, they obey laws, get highly educated and go on to make significant financial contributions to the country. Mexicans-Americans are largely low skilled, unskilled, and many leach off of our social safety net contributing nothing but higher crime rates, lower ranked schools and a decrease in property value.

The US government has been working hard and fast to accomplish that goal. The countries where women ARE oppressed, beaten and stoned and gays executed for being gay, happen to be in Muslim-majority countries. Yep, those pesky facts.

You didn't prove my OP wrong. You came up with ONE country that 'supposedly' doesn't oppress women because they have a woman leader. Having a woman leader doesn't prove the women in general aren't oppressed.
