video time 1:13 http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/truck-driver-hits-two-overpasses-on-i94/33112238 take a look at the race of the truck drivers here as you can see the Mexican / Hispanic and they can't read a 12 foot warning sign as most trailers are 13 ft 6in in height, so this is what i been warning about mexican drivers from mexico on the road now in the usa they are really a danger to the general public, note they then pulled the truck forward possibly causing more damage to the Train bridge with out a wrecker or a dot official or train representative there. this is how its done in mexico
did you also not the gang graffiti on the side of his trailer it only takes a few minutes with a white pant spray can 3$ to spray over it covering it up. but no hes promoted the gang driving all over the usa, like moving billboard sign. so lower the bar of truck drivers and DEATH will follow up in your rear view mirror in your car
The only accident with a truck I ever had was hitting a railway overpass in Detroit back when I started driving. But here it happened at night and the sign indicating the bridge height was not attached to the bridge but was placed some 30 feet to the right of the road with a view on it obstructed by an adjacent house. On top of it, none of the street lights were working, so the sign was useless at night since it was not sitting in a position where you would shine headlights on it. The trailer was a write-off, and the towing company charged 15k for their services and impounded my tractor until they got paid, keeping it supposedly in a safe area. When I came back 2 days later to pick up the tractor, I found out that someone siphoned off all my fuel. The rule of thumb is, you don't stop in Detroit, you run through or from it. In addition the crew with a fire truck told me a truck hits the same bridge in the same spot once a month on average.
In the accident cited above therefore I am not surprised he went under the second bridge, but he must have been blind to ho under the first one.
