Maybe he can pray that poor countries stop polluting the world. Better yet, why doesn't he say to help the poor by not spending billions on useless environmental programs? Punishing coal will have the effect of raising energy prices which will have a significant deleterious effect on the poor.

It's not as if the Catholic Church has stellar record regarding science either...Galileo comes to mind.

The Pope has a doppelganger, in Jonathan Pryce's High Sparrow, on Game of Thrones.

The High Sparrow seems well-vested in old Roman Law media, for trying fact.

We bust W, like that body double shot OR Steph with three more, or we'll wish we could sell out the Vatican, but hey, that and US is why Amanda Knox keeps getting (*)(*)(*)(*)ed, over there because she looks like Barb and Jenna's younger sister.

There's still NO CODE, over there, where the US busts all of the above and whistles Dixie, like nothing happened.

See how much better you can do, than the same, busted logical fallacy rants, with no connection established, between premise and conclusion, which plops, so only a certain grade can get into the rant.

Beats me, dude. I have hella degree situ. I just don't have that blah-Gaia-Gore-grunt thing down, like you all hardy Republicans.:woot:

Its not as if the Catholic Church has a stellar record of any kind. Its history is more of political intrique and the power of men over men than doing God's work.

Again someone preaching about 'climate change' while they ride around in private jets and live in palaces', practice what you preach for once. You know it is a con when the rich and powerful start pushing it and you know what it will entail... more taxes and greater power.

Since you have to believe climate change doesn't exist in order to deny it, that makes it a religion too derp derp derp.

That would be like saying atheism is a religion? I don't understand what you are saying.

It was sarcasm because people use that argument to say that atheism is a religion. I thought the derp derp derp would give it away. :)

It might be more worthwhile if they came up with a strategy like, oh! reduce the population of humanity on this planet by allowing more people to use birth control....

How is making fossil fuel more expensive going to help the poor? Where is this new miracle energy source? Where is the new fuel for our cars? If you guys REALLY believed in AGW, you'd urge Obama to write a simple mandate for ALL federal vehicles to run on natural gas which emits 50% less CO2...And we have vast reserves of it. Nuclear power plants provide clean energy yet are blocked by the environmental leviathan.

I would like to believe that the Pope is earnest in his quest to help the less fortunate but I don't see how backing AGW will accomplish this.

Birth control is widely available and has been for decades....Apparently it ain't workin.'

Francis hasn't been watching enough Game of Thrones, to save the CC.

Don't turn off your TV, if it's on HBO.

When the CC can get Francis smarter than Jonathan Pryce, belch, real loud, and I'll have a look.

Your use of size and color is a distraction, directed to DEFLECT, during your obfuscational orgy, with loads, of logical fallacies, but no connected facts and issues.

Your premise fails. Fossil fuels-expensive-poor-our cars-AGW-Obama-you'd urge-natural gas leads to FRACKING, without any development, for any part, of the renewable fuels concept, which needed to cut corruption, already, but since it didn't, corruption is consuming, calling shots, and POLLUTING.

You rambled. Savings first! Stop rambling, and cut corruption and its pollution, THEN regulate the pollution.

You rambled. BIODIESEL FIRST. You have to recycle carbon, IF YOU USE NATURAL GAS.

If you don't recycle carbon, just admit you are poisoning the water, before Hadj and ninjas get around to it, and they will do this.

If we could burn the bloody strawmen on this thread we could save billions on fossil fuels - mind you CO2 would go up

Renewable energy sources ARE helping the poor - because they are RENEWABLE and independent of expensive infrastructure.

The English-speaking world will not be experiencing good, clean, natural disasters.

    That's just NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Francis isn't enough. That's why GOT, or you are just bleating, waiting to get poisoned, lit, and NUKED.

The islanders won't tolerate us. Neither will Hadj and ninjas. Time's up, for the CC and corporate monarchies, if no constitutional rule. The English-speaking turf can be used, as an ice-sink, toward sensible re-glaciation, after a sturdy nuking chills the Anglo-riot.

The ANGLO-RIOT must cease all controversy and consumption and pollution, by its controversy, or perish by an unseen but known hand, and another, and another!

    Got it?

    This is gonna hurt:

"One thing that all of us have a responsibility to do is recognize that climate change is here, it's real," he said then. "That what we have to do is quit pointing fingers as to who's at fault and recognize that it's all our fault and it's all our responsibility to fix it." -Mike Huckabee

Seems even southern, conservative, anti-papist religionists are swallowing climate change.

Nah, the Catholic Church has a (*)(*)(*)(*)-poor record, but:

"One thing that all of us have a responsibility to do is recognize that climate change is here, it's real," he said then. "That what we have to do is quit pointing fingers as to who's at fault and recognize that it's all our fault and it's all our responsibility to fix it." - Mike Huckabee

Why? Atheism is as much a religion as Christianity. Just with no God.
