Homicide According to the US Department of Justice, blacks accounted for 52.5% of homicide offenders from 1980 to 2008 while making up only 12.6% of the population, with whites 45.3%, while making up 72.4% of the population and "Other" 2.2%. The offending rate for blacks was almost 8 times higher than whites (per 100,000), and the victim rate 6 times higher (per 100,000). Most murders were intraracial, with 84% of white homicide victims murdered by whites, and 93% of black victims murdered by blacks.
Nobody cares because white lives don't matter, only black lives, particularly those who were getting straightened out and getting their GED so they could get a job and sing in the choir at church, but had a mild setback with stealing a car, smoking weed, running from the cops and then pointing a toy gun at the cops...like that was going to scare the cops or sumpin. White folks is a dime-a-dozen, so "What difference does it make???"
I disagree, white lives do matter, especially if it involves children or women. Before Trayvon Martin, there were a number of cases that involved the media when it involved white women.
