Arabian sea is named after Saudi Arabia. Should Saudi Arabia be also given a seat on SC?

India has lots of problems with its neighboring countries and internally they have one of the biggest population of illiteracy. One of the highest rate of TB is in India. Population and poverty indexes are also not good in India. Lot many factors make India unfit for the SC.

 

India has a huge, huge problem with Tuberculosis, and in many cases the bacteria that causes TB is resistant to antibiotics. Many Indians have latent TB which means when they are really stressed or when they get old, their latent TB becomes active. It also still has leprosy colonies.
The Ganges River is drying up and very polluted.
As far as I am concerned, any country that can't take care of their TB problems don't deserve to be included in modern day society. By simply isolating TB patients they could have prevented the massive spread of that disease. And leprosy?
What good is a population as big as India's if everyone is a potential medical time bomb. They have Muslims and Hindus fighting each other. They still have the caste system.
There is squalor everywhere in India which makes our ghettos look like Disney Land. Most Indians still don't get sanitization. It is why one almost always gets sick when they eat there.
Once again: If India wants to play with the big boys they need to clean up their mess first.

 

No part of Saudi Arabia touches the Arabian sea, its not associated with Saudi Arabia at all, more like Arabia in general.

Saudi Arabia has no nuclear weapons and doesnt even seek them.

There are issues with the saudi population and their governance is based on a religious monarchy. Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian population isnt even close to that of india.

India should be on the security counsel simply based on their percentage of world population alone.

 

India has too many of its internal problems. This is far enought if they are dealing with their problems. Putting more pressure on them is not a good idea.

Also was and in Ukraine, the majority supported Yanukovych and chose as the president. The Industry of Canada,.. is about at the same level of Iran. It is, because Canada is mostly nothing but woods and farms ice and tundra's.

 

G7 group should not be an American club. It should be open to other nations too like China. On the global issues we cant ignore China anymore.

I was looking at the statistics for 2013. That is interesting, so India's GDP recently surpassed Russia?
Could it have something to do with all the sanctions and the Crimea situation?

It might be that Russia's economy is still slightly bigger than India's but the lack of exports has affected how Russia's GDP is measured. After all, Russian rubbles are not worth as much if outsiders cannot buy Russian-made goods.

 

The problem is if we allow India as being a Permanent Member on the U.N. Security Council is that Pakistan would demand a Permanent Seat as well.

For now neither can be allowed....although they can be on the Security Council in rotation with other Non-Permanent Security Counsil Members.

The most convincing thing I have heard is that Bin Laden died of renal failure in 2007 in the Saudi Arabian desert & was buried there & that the killing of Bin Ladens brother in a compound in Pakistan was just an attempt by the Americans to get closure.

We just threw his body in the sea and made it seem as if he was nothing at all....and THAT was the best possible action we could have taken.

And that is just the U.S. Government as U.S. PRIVATE GROUPS AND CITIZENS account for more Aid Donations than all of Europe Combined.

BILL GATES ALONE.....donated enough Mousquito Nets for sleeping in Africa and South America to prevent the deaths of over 200 Million People.
