Well, when Reagan granted amnesty in 1986, we were told there were only 1 million of them. So go ahead, get it done then the government would secure the borders, fine and punish employers for hiring illegals and we would have the problem solved once and for all.

Turns out there were THREE million to whom amnesty was granted. We never got border security and workplace enforcement. And with Teddy Kennedy's family unification changes to the immigration laws passed back in the late 60's those illegals who were now citizens got to bring in mom, dad, kids, uncles, aunts, cousins, spouses, etc. who themselves all had relatives to bring in. California is now on its way to becoming a third world hell hole. Can't wait till all the illegal alien supporters in Hollywood and Silicon valley get pushed out of their homes and cushy government offices by the descendants of the amnestied.

Today they tell us its 11 million we have to deal with. The true number, if we are stupid enough to let them get away with amnesty, is likely 30 million or more. The proggie white guilt diversity crowd thinks they will be able to keep their positions of power and wealth after the demographic changes they are creating happen. They will probably surprised to learn they are the first to be roasted in the pot.

 

I don't understand why California even has border check points with Mexico. Illegals gets drivers licences, sanctuary cities, open arms for all illegals. All the border does is keep honest law abiding Mexican citizens out, like a lock door to your house. A thief will break in whether or not your door is locked. The locked door only keep honest people honest.

 

A lot of the "illegal alien supporters in Hollywood and Silicon valley" have already moved to Colorado and turned that State from red to blue.

 

I have no idea about the percentage of farm workers, but I know almost 100% are from south of the border. The rest work very hard at menial jobs non-Latinos wouldn't even consider. And, most of those illegals do pay into SS (money they don't get back), plus sales taxes.

And 'free stuff' from the government? Not many, their illegal status disqualifies them from most, except perhaps education (which I think is a great benefit to the whole population and well worth the investment).

 

In most of the rest of the sane US they are still waiting.
Only in California, where one party rule has made the state a virtual adjunct of Mexico, are relaxed DMV regulations and special cut rate state sponsored insurance for illegals making it easier than ever to give an f.u. to federal immigration law.

better and more responsible drivers is just asinine.
Check your local DUI list in the paper and see what ethnicity is predominant.

years ago in 1999 a Mexican lady pulled right out in front of my old 1978 dodge at a blvd in las vegas, out of a parking lot, i skid and teebone the side of her 1992 Nissan maxima car, like this the hit took out the grill and one fender and hood was bent, on my dodge , the cops show up and i found out she had no insurance , i called up a few lawyers that day because i had a neckacke, know one would represent me, she did have a driver license from Arizona mcCains state btw..,

What? They never arrested farm workers when I lived there from '90 to 2012. In fact, not only did illegals not get arrested, they didn't even have their cars impounded when they had no license, registration or insurance. Geez man, the just recently released a 7 time convicted felon who had been deported 5 times; do you think they're going to arrest an illegal with no license?

IN 2012 I was driving from CA to Texas and got pulled over because my trailer lights had some how got disconnected. The cop and I started talking about illegals and he told me he was under orders not to do anything, not even ask questions, if he thought he had pulled over an illegal. But he went on to say that if I had no license, registration or insurance I would have been hauled in.

 

no she had a drivers license from Arizona so she could legally drive , you can get insurance and register the car and drop it a few moths later, illegals will do the same

My former neighbor across the street was a veteran of the Korean war and edging into his seventies when one of those illegals with no insurance broadsided him at high speed, abandoned his brand new pickup truck and hot footed it away to change his name and start all over again. So my neighbor not only got financially screwed over, having to pay out of pocket to repair his damaged vehicle but his physical health went into the toilet immediately afterwards and he sort of turned fragile overnight. He was dead before the next year was finished. So it goes in this leftist controlled United States of America.
