A new poll shows The National Rifle Association is more popular than the Democratic party's two most prominent members, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. According to the Gallup Poll, 58 percent of Americans surveyed said they have a favorable view of the gun rights group, while 35 percent said they have an unfavorable view. In a year plagued with mass shootings, including a recent tragedy at a community college in Oregon, there has been a national debate as to whether the NRA, with its ardent support for gun rights, is somehow complicit in these shootings, Gallup points out. Gallup's survey shows that, even after shootings nationwide, Americans overall still have a favorable opinion of the NRA, as they typically have, suggesting that the public may not be specifically blaming the organization for the crimes of those who commit mass shootings. Compare this to recent approval ratings for the president and former secretary of state, who is running for the Democratic nomination for president, and recently announced that she would support tougher gun laws once in office. According to a Gallup Poll between Oct.19-21, just under 50 percent approve of Obamas job performance, while 45 percent disapprove. Meanwhile, in a NBC/Wall Street Journal survey of Americans taken Oct. 15-18, 39 percent of those surveyed had a favorable view of Clinton, compared to 48 percent with an unfavorable view. Still, no one beats Congress for the worst ratings. According to the latest Associated Press/GFK poll taken from Oct. 15-19, only 16 percent of Americans 18 years and older approve of the legislative branchs job performance, compared to 83 percent who disapprove. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...arack-obama-and-hillary-clinton/?intcmp=hpbt3 Lol, that must really sting. Even with the droll demobots chanting the agenda talking points and proclaiming the queen (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) squeaky clean (even though anyone with half a brain cell knows otherwise), the NRA is STILL more popular. Expect increased noise from the left as the days go by and we get closer to election time. I mean, if they can't win on truth and fact, maybe lots of lies and noise will do the trick.
How does this make sense? Why is a group dedicated to protecting freedoms of individuals more popular than the president who is trying to take them away? Clearly, we need more consolidation in the media. Perhaps net-neutrality will help in a few years to sweep away all this dissent.
We've got a long way to go before the polls open. You can bet your life that a Black criminal thug will get put down by the police and libs will pour on the race pimp sauce. Hillary cant win Blacks with the free stuff song & dance alone.
Since their first Black President made things worse for Blacks and since the Republicans may very well have Ben Carson on the ticket.
Hey! Maybe the route for the Republicans to the White House would to have the police take a break on "ladling on the race pimp sauce" by taking a short break from killing unarmed black men until after the election! What a concept!
Well they'd have to convince these Black men not to commit crimes and than assault police when they're caught. But hey ...anything is possible right?
Just shows that democrats are on the wrong side of issue. By the way, Clinton cannot win the WH with a 39% favorable rating.
With Hillary pledging to stand up to the NRA, and if she wins the Presidential election, those poll numbers may reflect the opposite.
I'm surprised by those numbers, all around. 35% disapproval isn't bad considering the campaign against the NRA. I assume that a good deal of those who disapprove of the NRA don't actually have any idea about the NRA, or firearms in general. They just 'know' that it's all bad (or so they're told). As for the fact that Obama and Hillary have substantial approval ratings, also surprising.
She needs to give them a reason to vote instead of staying home. If Carson gets on the ticket, he'll get the majority of the black vote.
Doesn't matter. In several recent polls for the Democratic nomination they show Hillary with roughly 80% of the black vote. 15% for Biden who has since dropped out and Sanders with 5% of the black vote. Now in a head to head match up, Carson vs. Clinton, Clinton wins 78% of the black vote to 17% for Carson with the rest undecided. The Hispanic vote goes 61-35 for Clinton while the white vote goes 56-35 for Carson. Compare that with Trump vs. Clinton in a head to head match up. Clinton wins the black vote by 81-8% and Hispanic by a 59-30%. Whites go to Trump by a 53-35 margin. If those number held up on election day, 17% of the black vote along with 35% of the Hispanic vote along with his white vote, Carson would win the popular vote against Clinton. Trump would lose the popular vote with only 8% of blacks and 30% of Hispanics although 30% of the Hispanic vote is better than Romney did in 2012 when he received only 27%. Now the electoral college where the real presidential race is, that is a whole different ball game and story.
Gotta disagree about Hillary not winning Blacks with the "free stuff song & dance". You would be right to observe that Blacks and other minorities, along with loads of White bottom-feeders and other losers, no longer find a big "breadwagon" routine to be a big deal. They will have had eight solid years of every kind of government handout imaginable in plentiful supply, so, now they just expect it. So, how does Hillary put the BUZZ back in the welfare handout appeal? By convincing everybody that if a Republican gets elected, all these parasites, leeches, and slugs will HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK again! You think that won't get them spun up?! Watch for it! . "I'll keep your welfare coming -- but the evil Republicans will throw your ass out in the street!"
Yep, those big meany republicans running cities like Baltimore, Detroit, DC, and Chiraq for the last 50 years, doing nothing to solve abject poverty, high murder rates, and failing schools, which overwhelming affect black folks. Maybe dems can do something to improve their lives.
It amazes me that every conservative in America isn't a member of the NRA. They have somewhere around 5 million members each paying about $30/year membership, and look at the power they have. The candidates(vast majority are republicans) they support have around a 90% win pct. Imagine if they had 50 million members instead. https://membership.nrahq.org/5245/default.aspx?src=camo&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=camo&utm_campaign=bing_ppc
