No, Sanders has way more principles than Trump ever will, so don't expect him to wallow in the mud to please the useful idiots.

What about the stand down order in Benghazi
what about Hillary Clinton outing CIA agents
What about the many other false allegations
I'm not trying to play you for a fool
But I do think you are a victim of a right wing propaganda

Sure, this subject has been studied in academia. I am aware of this and one of my degrees is in Political Science. According to your own poll, 75 percent of black people did not express a dislike of Jews. I'm not sure that the number of blacks who don't have an unfavorable opinion isn't even higher. Polls aren't perfect. However, that would still mean that the overwhelming majority of respondents did not express an unfavorable view, which hardly justifies anyone saying that blacks hate Jews.

Blacks and Jews have a history of working together. They stood side by side during the Civil Rights Movement. MLK was an ardent supporter of Israel and was concerned about the treatment of Jews in Russia. Jews were active early leaders in the NAACP. This is part of the history of blacks and Jews. Have you studied about the history of common ground and support? Black Millennials have been supporting Bernie and there is no indication that I've seen that the support for Hillary by older blacks is due to antisemitic sentiment.

I agree, Bernie is losing big time because he is being too soft. But then again I feel he is probably getting a lot of pressure from the democrat establishment to hold back from truly attacking Clinton. The fix is in, democrats will push Clinton and they will make it happen even if they have too assassinate anyone investigating her emails and sweep every lie she says under the rug.

Plus Hillary has a legion of ignorant voters and the super delegates are already hers despite what the american voter says or wants.

    Bernie is a panzy.

You drag distrust back into hate. The sentiment of those willing to provide an honest answer outweighs society as a whole with regard to anti-semitic views. This is your are of study... so lets play a game. How many white people do you think hold racist prejudice vs those who express a "dislike" of black people? I seriously want you to answer that question. I want you to quantify it. You have nothing to fear, it is a personal belief, there is no wrong answer.

I dunno how much experience you have on the ground with poor southern uneducated blacks, but this is my wheelhouse. There is an overwhelming DISTRUST, given an option, of a white jew vs a white non-jew. Please be honest answering my question.

The socialist never had a chance, it was just wishful thinking and the certain knowledge that Hillary is a horrible candidate, so it doesn't really matter anyway, liberals will not win the White House...

And he has valuable experience from his no holds barred bouts with Rosie O'Donnell to draw on. As you said, he'll have vastly more material to use against Hillary, just not the "fat cow" stuff

I pray to God you are right :fingerscrossed:

sorry but Bernie never really had a chance. the last time the democrats went to war with each other was 1968.
ever since then they have only committed national suicide twice, 1972 & 1988.
Bernie needed democrats to kill each other and cooler head prevailed but Bernie never had a chance, he was never that popular within the party and Hillary is far more popular within the party.
however Bernie has sharpened her up and thanks to Bernie she was pushed and forced to get better with a sharper message.
besides no matter how much I agree with Bernie on some issues, the two things I know is this.
number one America will never elect a socialist. never, the republicans will equate that to communists and then Bernie's
    campaign is toast.
number two, if by some miracle he gets elected his agenda is completely dead on arrival to the congress.
the republicans in both houses will absolutely kill agenda with glee.
Bernie is no fool, he simply never had a real chance to win the nomination.
besides the Clintons love a good brawl and Bernie amounted to a tune up for November.
I can guarantee you that the republicans will come out for the general election campaign guns blazing.
this is going to be a vicious campaign for the white house.

Someone suggested that Bernie wasn't winning the black vote because blacks hate Jews and I thought that was a bogus claim. I'm not going to discount comments that you might have heard about distrust from the people that you encounter. Maybe they are part of the percentage of blacks with negative opinions mentioned in your source. I think that the 75 percent in your poll (possibly more) are open to relationships (i.e. friendships and working relationships) with Jewish people. I don't know how many white people are racist. There have been studies about the number of whites who have negative attitudes about blacks and we could post those and get some data to look at but guessing seems like a waste of time.

Interesting angle but Bernie had enough of the young white vote to win, if he wasn't so stupid!

Bernie is a real fool and deserves to lose!

I assumed he would lose but could he have really lost by that margin? Overenthusiastic poll workers? Over-rigging? ;-)

He's not going to attack Hillary or any other candidate because that's who he is. Hillary was smart for following him and adopting his stance on some issues and his demeanor. If a candidate wanted to attack Bernie, they would look like fools and would lose votes very quickly to him. Hillary, who has been the frontrunner for much longer than most people have known Bernie's name, has run a very good campaign. She definitely wants it. She'll adopt any stance she needs to to get the presidency. What Democrats should understand is she's going to change her position and go to the center for the general election. She's not going to get any more legislation passed than Bernie would. How do you negotiate with Republicans when your initial position is already at the center? She's going to push the country even further to the right, while Bernie would, if not pass legislation from a far more liberal stance, at least get a lot of attention for it and get the idea out to the public. And he also has a lot more support from indepenents than she does.

I think where Bernie went wrong was focusing on a political revolution based on campaign reform. Yeah, both sides support this issue. But most people really don't care, and when he should have been expanding his support, he narrowed his focus to this issue. I think this, along with Hillary having a huge advantage from the start, did him in. He didn't lose because he's a democratic socialist. He's winning the white vote, and the young vote. His ideas are popular. He could have won if he was better able to convince people that his campaign could win, was better able to differentiate himself with Hillary, and could connect better with black voters.

He should have attacked Bill Clinton for being bad for blacks because Hillary got a lot of support just because of Bill Clinton. He could have said that the economy was good in the 1990's because of economic forces not really having to do with Bill Clinton, and that the economy could be even better with his ideas, and get even more support from economists(even though he has more endorsements from economists than any other candidate). "Welfare Reform" has been terrible for blacks along with "Tough on Crime" legislation. He could have been more specific on both of these issues. He could have supported restoring the AFDC and get rid of time limits and work requirements. Tough on crime legislation has been terrible for blacks. I know a lot of blacks supported it to try to prevent crime, but it was a misguided solution. The real problem of the black community are poverty, dissolution of the family unit, and low expectations. Racism exists in society yes (it's never going to end), but institutional racism has been all but eradicated after the Civil Rights Movement. Fixing the economic and social problems of black people would eliminate many racial issues. We need to bring black people up by focusing on the three issues mentioned, and not tear white people down.

Blacks are there own worst enemy, really. They continue to vote for policies and candidates that are harmful to them. Why should a Presidential candidate care what happens in some isolated police incident like Treyvon Martin? It's a local issue, blown out of proportion by the media to make it look like a national issue. Hillary is good at appealing to these emotional issues, that really don't matter in a national context, while Bernie isn't. But she gets a ton of support from blacks, while Bernie would be much better for blacks.

Clemson University was the latest poll and they nailed it on the button. Hillary started off with a huge lead and then picked up the late deciders. This was a very good primary for her. It also puts to rest the idea that if we just move a little further left that we will pick up more minority vote from her in a General Election contest. We can't go further Left than Bernie and remain in any semblance Republicans.

We do need to present to the Black Community our views and our desire that they return to their home, The Republican party, the Democrats first held them on plantations and now destroy them in inner cities, but our message to them must not be to promise to go even further Left than Bernie. Is there even a lane left of Bernie?

There isn't. But these results do reinforce what we already knew, moving Left is not going to garner the GOP more minority support. There is no "further left" than Bernie, and he completely belly flopped with the minority vote.

All this dividing everyone up into races and then pandering and pitting them against each other is left-wing bull(*)(*)(*)(*) anyway and I want no part of it. I don't believe in racial divisions. There is only ONE race, the HUMAN race.
