    Charming.

Whilst I am certainly no fan of the intellectually vacuous Alaskan 1.5 term governor turned reality show maven, I think this is perhaps one of the singularly most disgusting and stupid series of comments ever aimed at Sarah Palin.

Indeed, some rapper, Azealia Banks, has gone full idiot and said that she think Palin should be gang raped by black men.

I can count about 17 different things wrong her idiocy, ranging from promoting violent acts against women to going on and being a racist ass.

    Disgusting through and through.

Warning, the tweets shown at the link contain massive vulgarities and racial derogatory language.

Rapper Azealia Banks went on a Twitter rant against former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Twitter Sunday, saying Palin should be forced to undergo a series of crude and humiliating sex acts with black men.

Banks eventually deleted the tweets, but the Media Research Center saved snapshots of them.

For what it’s worth, Palin didn’t actually say black people willingly accepted slavery. Banks appear to have gotten the comments from a satirical news story.

Azealia Banks is a black female, so I suspect the "racism" charge won't stick very well. She will literally have no negative repercussions from this. Her career won't be harmed, people will still buy her albums, etc. Progressive and minority privilege.

Every time a comment like this comes out, what would happen if a white country singer said a black female politician/celebrity/personality should be raped....24/7 news cycle. This won't even be mentioned on prime time.

I doubt anyone would notice. It’s not skin colour or music style that has made this “news”, it’s just that she’s mainstream.

There are “journalists” operating in all sorts of different “news” organisations whose job is to trawl through the social media of a specific set of mainstream celebrities and find anything “controversial”. That’s how these things get screen captured, even if the originals are removed almost immediately. So of the reactionary responses are written by those same “journalists” using false accounts too.

That’s certainly not to defend anyone for posting inappropriate comments on the internet but in general these “celebrities” aren’t doing anything that millions of other people aren’t too. After all, half the time the “celebrities” are publicly condemned for reposting something from someone else (who is ignored). Just like “celebrity gets drunk”, “celebrity in relationship”, “celebrity wears clothes” or “celebrity goes shopping” this is faux news not worthy of consideration.

I doubt that anyone on this thread even knew who she was until a right wing blog made an issue of it.

I didn't bother to watch. The idea is disgusting in itself. I have no love at all for Caribou Barbie, but this sort of stuff is trash.

Yes, there is quite a lot of that. It's a primary fuel for right wing media, where peddling outrage is a full time job. Repetition and cribbing off of one another's sites is too.

Right wing media too repetitive for you? Maybe the lefties are doing so much racist (*)(*)(*)(*) that they need to be exposed and your MSM liberal owned media won't cover the race war declared by #BLM and LaRaza.

Substitute Palin with Mooch and Azealia Banks with Ted Nugent then watch the country burn.

The left's hateful vitriolic attacks towards Sarah Palin and her family have been going on since 2008...

Indeed, and her stupidity has been brayed to the world with a nasally twang in all that time too.

However, not sure some (*)(*)(*)(*)wit rapper constitutes "the left".

It's disgusting but it's not singular. This same threat/wish was put forward by the Left when she ran in 2008. Apparently for the Left this is the go-to threat for women who "get out of line".

Since her music sucks, she's trying to make a name for herself saying stupid, asinine, hateful things.

I know. The left sucks. The right wing is the holy penis of intellectual criticism. They never say anything stupid. The left sucks universally, and the right is mother(*)(*)(*)(*)ing awesome!

You know all those places that refuse to allow conservative speakers, places like colleges and the like? Do you think this broad is now barred from appearing at any of them? No, I doubt it very much. There will be no mention of racism, war on women, or anything like that because conservatives are fair game.

Let me know when Azealia Banks's record labels get dropped, Hollywood bans her, people boycott her albums and concerts, and radio stations stop playing her music.

    BREAKING NEWS:

Obama has halted today's speech to invite Azealia Banks to the White House. Sources indicate that once again, the BLM terrorist organization will gather at the White House for her defense.

    More to follow.

    Here's my problem with it...

Under normal circumstances, I couldn't care less what someone said about anybody not directly related to me or in my close circle of friends. The only reason something like this grabs my attention is because I know damn good and well that if the shoe was on the other foot and Palin made the same remarks about Banks, #2 would surely hit the fan and Palin would be forever reminded of her comments and be deemed a racist no matter how much she apologized. If equality was real and there was no double standard then this wouldn't be a story. It would be chalked down as a rapper talking smack about a politician and nothing more.

I don't like Sarah Palin at all, but I also hold Hillary in contempt. Still, as much as I may not like them, for whatever reason, I would never, even contemplate wishing RAPE upon another woman....or man for that matter. There is no defense for what that rancid piece of crap said. None.

Are you really going to sit there and say that "peddling outrage" is a full time job of only the right wing media? The ONLY reason Trump is viewed as "racist" and gets protested is because so many idiots listen to, and get zombified by left wing media and without question, go protest that guy who is racist. They can't tell you WHY he's racist, they just know he's racist.

WTF? #BLM is nothing but peddling outrage. Even where it doesn't exist. They can't even admit that the "Hands up don't shoot" was a complete lie. They still base their outrage on a two punks that sucker punched gun owners and paid for it. Lies! Fake outrage and terrorism, MOD EDIT - Removed Flamebait

Thank you for posting about this.... I'm glad a more liberal person posted about it and denounced it.

But with that siad, your highlighted part of your quote.... Sarah Palin didn't actually say "I can see Alaska from my yard".... Tina Fay did on SNL spoofing Sarah Palin... yet many MANY liberals completely blamed Palin for that statement, and even when it came out that it was a SNL skit, they didn't quit bashing her for it, they justified blaming her for it by saying "well, it's something that she could be seen saying"

for some, agenda is more important than truth

    Oh.

    Did you mean Tina Fey?

Yeah, if you have a problem with liberals who said that, take it up with them. I never said it, and your condemnation has (*)(*)(*)(*) all to do with me, instead smelling like a partisan bit of meme.
