Gap has apologized over an ad for its kids clothing line that people said was racist.

Of course they apologized to the leftist rabble rousers.

Gap has apologized over an ad for its Ellen DeGeneres kids clothing line after the ad was called racist by some Twitter users.


They even picked on one of their own leftys.

The #GapKidsxED campaign ad showed two white girls in impressive acrobatic positions, while a black girl stood passively as a third white girl used her head as an armrest.

The photo was shared with the caption: "Meet the kids who are proving that girls can do anything."

The photo was quickly met with a backlash from Twitter users:

There is a moment in Underground, WGN America’s exceptional new series chronicling the escape of seven enslaved black people from a plantation in Macon, Ga., where the white mistress—envious of the gratitude her daughter has shown to the head house servant, a black woman who has given birth to several of the master’s children—sends the enslaved black woman’s daughter to confront an angry white man, leading to a vicious lashing.


It was heart-wrenching to watch for several reasons, the obvious one being the horrifying visual of the young black woman’s skin breaking and bleeding with each lash.


But it was the scene in its entirety that, perhaps, troubled me the most. The degrading pain being inflicted upon the young black woman while everyone looked on, unwilling to interfere, serves as a prescient illustration of how black women and girls in a white supremacist society continue to be both invisibilized, endangered and exploited for the benefit of white women and capitalism, more specifically King Cotton.


It was with these thoughts in mind that I saw the Ellen DeGeneres-fronted GapKids x ED ad featuring Ava, 8; Lucy, 8; Fanny, 12; and Angelina, 12, known collectively as Le Petit Cirque, “the only all-kid humanitarian cirque company in the world.” The image of these girls, three white and one black, was socialized with the tweet “Meet the kids who are proving that girls can do anything”—preferably in Gap cotton.


This is all about slavery and whipping women till they bleed. Gap has to pay reparations now.

 

Liberals cant keep up with their own BS. The liberal implosion is finally happening. Thanks Obama! LOL

It seems that in order to do as requested and put diversity into media, we need to be very careful to make black people the focus and place them as stars helping grandmas cross the street while saving whales and healing lepers.

Hollywood also needs to make more black movies and train black actors to be stars.
