I can't copy and paste on this computer. See, "Obama Never Said Money Wasn't Corrupting; In Fact He Said the Opposite," The Intercept, April 15, 2016 In the Democratic debate Thursday, Hillary Clinton invoked President Obama as an example of a Democrat, who "had a Super PAC when he ran" for office and "took tens of millions of dollars" from Wall Street contributors, as if he wasn't corrupted by it. That is essentially a confession. From the very beginning, he was being grumed by Wall Street. His 2008 campaign impressed the public relations industry, which named Obama "Advertising Age's Marketer of the Year." See, "Banks 'Too Big to Fail' Have Grown Even Bigger," Washington Post, August 28, 2009
So you basically fabricated what Obama supposedly said based on your interpretation of something he said in his book. I wish I could say it was not typical from conservatives.
That's an exact quote from his book. Look it up in Google Books. Do you know how to fact check? And you incorectly identified me as a conservative.
Cite the page where Obama says: "I was Corrupted by Wall Street Money". Google result: No results found for "I was Corrupted by Wall Street Money".
Thankfully trump hangs out with the little people all day long.....well at least long enough to shine his shoes. And Cruz hangs out with his goldman sachs wife. LOL
I see. Because it was just the title, then you feel its OK to fabricate what Obama said. Wish I could say it was untypical of conservatives.
^^ This nonsense is exactly what I was talking about in this thread: http://www.politicalforum.com/elect...ency-shatters-democrats-unites-big-money.html He can't even tell a leftist from a conservative.
Using government to enrich yourself by selling influence is typical of leftist. Just ask the "Clinton Foundation".
I get what he's saying. I grew up in the upper middle class and I basically only hang out with middle and upper class people. I interact with lower class people whether it be lying to homeless people that I have no money, waiting in line at the DMV, or ordering a Baconator at Wendy's, but I don't really have any deep conversations with them. I think this helps me look at things from a logical perspective rather than using a "but they're human beings" overly emotional thought process.
Yes.....we should vote for someone who is not surrounded by the big power brokers of the day. Someone who is not around the super elite rich and powerful all the time. A real man of the people....so who are you voting for......Mr Invisible?
The point is those "wealthy donors" wouldn't have been showering Obama with campaign cash if they weren't going to get anything in return. When did this become debatable? Obama's top campaign contributors were financial institutions. See, "Barack Obama, Top Contributors, 2008 cycle," OpenSecrets.org
Thankfully Trump and Cruz do not have lots of wealthy friends that they would like to pay back.....oh....wait...
LOL where the hell did that come from? - - - Updated - - - Fabricating what Obama said in the thread title is exactly what I'm talking about. I see it from conservatives regularly.
I think Obama meant he was bought with Wall Street money. He was corrupted by his Marxist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, who may have also been his father. But, as trampy as Obama's mother was, any black guy in 1960 could have been his father. He was also corrupted by his Muslim stepfather, and his black racist preacher Rev. Wright. Valerie Jarrett and George Soros have surely corrupted their little puppet. also.
Thankfully trump has been free of the influences of the rich elite....he spends most of his time with landscapers and ditch diggers. He is truly a man of the people ( if the people are white billionaires).
You know what....you convinced me....I will NOT be voting for Obama in this election. And that is final! LOL - - - Updated - - - Trump is a regular joe...he gets the working man (if by working man you mean a fat cat developer who will skip out thru bankruptcy so he can maintain his billions)
I really should've typed out the entire thing but I can't copy and paste on this computer. He said he was dependent on Wall Street money as more and more voters became disappointed with his decisions. Go to the site and read the entire thing yourself.
All legal by the way. He admits he used the system. What about all the people that filed bankruptcy to save their families savings? Or the ones that filed for mortgage protections or let a house go back to the bank? Fat cats that should be punished?
