There is nothing stopping any other person or group of different ethnic persuation from joining the GOP. Fact is, there was 1 black, 2 hispanics, 1 woman, 1 Indian, 1 libertarian, 1 obese person, 2 evangelicals, and 1 bad hair person running in the GOP. On the Democrat side you had 1 liberal woman of low moral character, 1 liberal Communist, and 1 liberal white guy. I would have to say the GOP was more inclusive. I think that secretly the Democrat party would like to see it's membership reduced to just white woman, black woman and hispanic woman. It offers men nothing.

Okay, serious question, no sarcasm...in today's world, what are the ways the majority of white people are holding back minorities?
The majority of us work with minorities, same job, same pay. Our kids go to the same schools, same teachers, same opportunities. How are we more privileged?

Inner city schools in large cities is a whole other issue, imo.
In the other cities across the majority of America, minority kids go to the same school as whites. So again, how do they not have the same opportunities?

It was democrats that created the programs built those government housing projects and placed minorities in them
it is democrats that created welfare that paid women to have fatherless children putting minority kids at more of a disadvantage of ever escaping poverty.
It is democrats that are against school choice so minority kids are forced to attend failing schools in our failing education system so to keep them uneducated and disadvantaged.
it has been democrats that have spent 15 trillion on the war on poverty and we have the same dam poverty rate today as we had when the war was declared.
Democrats with their liberal agenda and programs have been nothing but a miserable utter failure that has caused more damage to minorities then has done any good
but that is all part of the democrat scheme keep minorities in poverty keep them dependent on government keep them a democrat voting block

If the majority of us worked with minorities, we wouldn't have minorities. And no, kids in private schools are mostly all white. I know. I've lived in these areas. It's segregation on steroids where the whites go to private, and Blacks go to public. You haven't a clue of what you are talking about. Whites make up anywhere from 60% tp 75% of the American population, closer to 63% when Hispanics who call themselves 'white' are removed from the calculation. Republicans are only reflecting the majority demographic. Democrats represent the minority. That's just the way It is.

First. "Whites" to use your racialist term only exist in your mind as a separate interest group. The descendants of Poles, Germans, Brits, French, Scandinavians Dutch and so forth, do not view themselves in racial terms, only racialists do.
