Trump Leads Clinton by 6 (8/19/2016)

Some polls are outliers, this I will admit. However, with Trump having an excellent last 2 weeks, 3 amazing nationally televised policy driven speeches, hitting the campaign trail in multiple states going to rallies that are still attracting people in the 10's of thousands, giving televised interviews, and going to flood ravaged Louisiana. Meanwhile Obama has his Katrina moment, golfing in predominantly white Martha's Vineyard; and Crooked Hillary Clinton is on bed rest today, once again avoiding media scrutiny regarding her unscrupulous and inapporpriate charity racketeering scams and payments in the millions of dollars to Bill Clinton from unsavery Middle East Sharia Law teaching firms.

Don't expect to see this in the RealClearPolitics average of polls. It might bring the fake polling numbers average down.

 

I guess this is to be somewhat expected as Trump is out there working his tail off and not making mistakes, while Clinton is rigged for silent running and trying to avoid being asked about her mistakes.

Huh. That certainly is an outlier, I have to say, though it seems as though most of the race tightening is occurring on a national level; if you look at the individual swing state polling, and the traditionally democratic states, they're still very solidly Hillary, it's just that Trump is gaining ground in some traditionally Republican states, which doesn't actually matter a wink.

 

The electorial map still looks grim for Trump. 2 and a half months and he has a lot of ground to make up.

I've never heard of usdailywire.com before.... Talk about fake polling numbers. The key to why it is fake is that it's an online survey. Also, no specific methodology for the survey was listed? Why not? It's a sign of fraud if a data source doesn't tell how it gets it's data.

Yeah, Daily Wire was founded by Rightwinger Ben Shapiro. Might as well have Breitbart do a poll.

 

But no listing of methodology of obtaining samples, which is the key to a good survey. To get good survey results with such a small sample size, the sampling has to be almost totally random. Since it states an online poll is part of it, I doubt this is random sampling. It doesn't fit the smell test of how surveys are done.

The questions are probably along the lines of-

"Who do you want to see elected President?

A. Donald Trump, who loves America, won't let terrorists kill your children, and will create a billion new jobs?

or C. Hillary ROTTEN Clinton, who wants to destroy America and will kill your puppy?"

 

I am sure that the same polling outfit has Trump winning Washington, DC in a landslide.

 

If it doesn't show up in their average of polls, yes. If it does show up, possibly not. But I've seen several national polls that show Trump doing better than their average and yet it doesn't appear in their list of polls.

 

The BIG change is coming from how the democrats are stabbing women and blacks in the back..... the media also now are showing how they help rig the election for democrats...... Did you create it? Just curious because it's a Wordpress site and I can't find ANY information about the site except that the address is registered through a bulk provider and the site is ONLY referenced by your typical right-wing disinformation sites.

The REALLY interesting thing about it is that the link you provided is 1 of only 3 articles that is available on that site. 1 is from August 11th and the one you linked which is dated August 18th.

Are we actually supposed to take that site seriously? Not all of us are a part of Trump's sheep herd.

 

Lots of the polls in the RCP average of polls use online polling data or some combination of it and phone calls. It's 2016 not 1984. This one used a combination of both.

So, no, not fake. Likely voters not registered voters, which is historically more accurate.

I know y'all a a little bit scared, perhaps clinching just a bit when you read the headline, but remain calm. Perhaps your criticism is valid. Maybe it is just some weird fake poll. Maybe it's part of the vast right wing conspiracy against the Clintons.

I'd be scared if EVERY OTHER poll had Clinton down.
I'd be moderately worried if the polls were split.

I agree that this poll appears to be an outlier, but it's clear that the political winds have shifted since The Madame's feeble brain "short-circuited" a couple of weeks ago.

And yet 4 days ago this same outfit (The Daily Wire) says Trump hasn't got a chance in hell of winning in November. A quote from the conclusion of the attached article - "There is no other conclusion to come to other than that Clinton will be the next president of the United States, barring a dramatic change of events". I don't think Trump has turned the tide in the last 3 to 4 days, does anyone else? Look, I can understand Trump fans reaching for any speck of light at the end of a dark, grim tunnel but geezzz........
