Nothing but a protest, which I think we're entitled to do, and it hasn't even happened yet.

 

Of course you're entitled to; but If history is any indication, I can predict the mess that will have to be cleaned after this event. Weren't 99-ers demonstrations a menace to the communities?

 

As an independent, we watch the whole thing from different eyes.

Democrats were already in a hole, and all of them freaking out is just digging the hole deeper.

The smartest thing they could do nationally is be humble and apologize for calling us all racists and sexists. The great majority of republicans aren't, let alone independents. Honestly, democrats NEED to apologize to everyone for how they went about that campaign. But they're so committed to the narrative, like a person with too much money in a poker pot, that I don't know if they can.

It's dangerous to have the nation this lopsided in leadership, even if Trump is an outsider at the helm.

You all have got to knock it off and come to the realization you're all way too far radical for the majority of Americans to stomach.

I'll give you an example, calling normal people "racists" and "sexists". It's starting to feel like the great majority of liberalism is nothing more than a bag of cheap tricks.

What I've noticed over the years is that the liberals who do not like what I post call me some pejorative form of "conservative" or "rightwing nut", even as the conservatives who do not like what I post call me some pejorative form of "liberal" or "progressive."

Political discourse in this country is largely based upon false and inaccurate assumptions. As Orwell noted, once the language is corrupted, what follows naturally is that thought processes soon become corrupted. Nothing better to corrupt the language than stupid labels.
