But you are quite correct in your view that I was voting against Hillary Clinton far more than I was voting for Donald Trump.

 

I do not wish to be mistaken for a believer in Trump's promise here--I truly am not--but, just to play devil's advocate (and in all fairness), I really do not think that it is all about Mexico's writing us a check for that amount of money. Rather, it is about our withholding funds that would otherwise flow into Mexico.

 

Mexico should have to pay, because people who come to America should come legally, and learn English. As for Mexico not paying, and calling the wall "Racist" (the left's favorite term), well, there actually IS a way to make them pay for it. Attach a surcharge to all money sent back to Mexico. Voila, it pays for the wall. So please stop pretending we don't have ways to do this. There are many things I despise about Trump, but he's 100% right about what he is currently trying to do, which is at least deport the criminal illegal aliens. They didn't respect our border, or our laws, so why shouldn't we send them back home?

 

Proving to the world that one has zero insight is even worse, because it shows not only lack of knowledge but lack of judgmental self-perception too.

 

Good, when you actually encounter Marxism be sure and let us know. In Britain Obama would be considered centre-right, but I guess US politics has moved so far to the right that anyone not resembling Attila the Hun is a Communist.
