German magazine sparks furor with image of Trump beheading Statue of Liberty

Trump as damaged USA's reputation in Europe by badmouthing the EU and suggesting Brexit and further break-up of EU is desirable.

Trump has also slandered Germany by claiming that Germany is taking advantage of the EU and of the low current foreign exchange value of the Euro to increase its exports.

The EU has been the biggest ally of the USA and Trump is risking a break in the alliance which is something Russia would like.

Well, that would be an accurate illustration of what Trump has been doing the entire time. I wonder if a US publication can one-up Der Spiegel, and illustrate Trump dismembering and eating the dismembered parts of the Statue of Liberty. After all, don't Trump supporters want truth?

Germans are Germans, their government is always meddling in reporting. The German establishment is terrified of Trump's new economic approach. Germans had it so good for quite long time. They literally colonised the rest of Europe economically. Weak Euro suits them perfectly and Trump called them out on it. Hence outrage.

 

You can't spark furor when you make Trump look like just another Muslim terrorist. Thanks, I bet even normal peaceful Muslims respect Trump more now.

That cover simply shows what most Americans don't want to know; that Trump is determined to destroy what he considers a ''ridiculous'' democracy.

Most Americans will, justifiably, support their democracy until death parts them forever. Their constitution is sacred, even if their new leader has already displayed annoyance of having to abide by it.
So any early removal of Trump, even if he labels all Muslims with a badge or jails women for having an abortion, seems unlikely. It would be ''un-democratic'' and ''un-patriotic''.

Yet man is the greatest destroyer of all. Man is certainly not afraid to destroy the written heritage that form the basis of a constitution.

Like Hitler wasn't afraid to burn the books of German democracy.

So, what is one piece of paper to Donald Trump?

Remember the cover of Der Spiegel for it shows the truth, about Trump, that is out there. But somehow that truth remains obscured by the unquestioned loyalty Americans place in their constitution and democracy, regardless of the the man with power and intent to destroy it.

All the big liberal German "news" media endorse Kanzlerin Angela Merkel's open-legs policy of 'inclusiveness' for Islamo-Nazis. This Spiegel rag has a circulation of about a million, and they support her, even though her stupid policies have brought Germany into a state of near chaos often during the past two years. Merkel had already made up her mind in December that she wasn't even going to try to work well with President Trump, so why would we expect Der Spiegel to voice any other kind of viewpoint than one that portrays Trump as EXACTLY the kind of murderous trash that Merkel and the other hyperlib European "leaders" have been bringing into their countries in waves!
