Well, sorry Donald, but these are judges, not high school students, and we have this system int eh US.

It is called checks and balances. Because you were elected to be president does not mean you have unlimited power. It does not mean you are always right.

And thankfully, your decisions can be overruled at times when they are deemed, and this is all basic civics, to be nonsense.

After days of raging via Twitter and through the press he claims is wrong, Trump continues to question the judicial review of his executive order's implementation, attacking judges at every turn, claiming he has superior knowledge and intellect, an unlikely attribute.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/08/politics/donald-trump-travel-ban-defense/

President Donald Trump harshly criticized arguments against his temporary travel ban on Wednesday, discounting a legal challenge to the order as anti-security and lambasting the federal judicial system that's weighing it as overtly political.

Seeking to lend his own legal argument for the order banning travel from certain Muslim-majority countries, Trump insisted that US president's have wide authority to determine who may enter the United States.

As he read from US immigration law, the President declared that even a "bad high school student" could understand the language and find in his favor.

"I think it's sad, I think it's a sad day," Trump told a group of major city police officers and sheriffs in Washington.

On Tuesday evening, a federal appeals court heard arguments in the legal battle over the travel ban. The California-based 9th Circuit Court of Appeals will decide soon whether to reinstate the executive order. Until then, his order that temporarily bars all refugees from entering the country, and all immigration from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, is halted.

"I watched last night in amazement and I heard things that I couldn't believe, things that really had nothing to do with what I just read," Trump said during his event Wednesday morning in Washington.

He even offered criticism for his own Justice Department defense, saying: "I listened to lawyers on both sides last night and they were talking about things that had nothing to do with it."

Democrats are acting so irrational if I was Trump I would sign an executive order to have random drug tests for every Democrat in Congress.

Trump is right, and he will win on this issue. The Judge is overstepping his bounds.

"“Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”"

most everyone one would fail..lose their job..just think of all the new jobs opening up..

    - - - Updated - - -

The part of the U.S. Code he read specifies that when the president "finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation ... suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

“A bad high school student would understand this,” he said.

    he is right again..

Isn't it amazing to watch leftists fall on their swords for a group that is more vehemently opposed to the progressive agenda than even the hated Christians? Never underestimate the desire for left-wing Democrats to gain the approval (and votes) of non-white minorities. They can't bend over backwards enough for them.

    What Trump did is genius.

He's exposing the activist judges in our country that think they're the ones making laws from the bench.

The POTUS has the unequivocal power to stop immigration by ANY class of people, for as long as he wants. It is a clear and unarguable authority over immigration into the US.

Trump read word for word the statute that gives him the authority to do what he is doing to protect Americans. In oral argument the judges were asking about all kinds of irrelevant things like whether there had been studies, which has no relevance to the authority Trump has under the statute.

BTW, does anyone recognize that the US Constitution nowhere mentions any rights of foreign nationals to immigrate to the US. Nor is there any "right" of persons to claim there shall be no "religious test" to determine who can come in. The United States of America has absolutely no obligation to let in any foreign national whatsoever.

Anything that gets into the argument otherwise is just smoke and fluff that has no relevance to the issue.

I expect the lefties to generate some emotional, but not legal, reason for blocking Trump's attempt to protect us from terrorism.

If they do, will every libbie who wants to block Trump from keeping them out volunteer to house, clothe and feed one of the refugees in your own personal house?

An overwhelming number of the judiciary disagree with the president's interpretation of that when juxtaposed agaisnt this executive order.

We are a nation ruled by laws, not Twitter tantrums from man-children sitting in the White House.
