No, that's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, he had a chance to beat all the charges, and be free from the appeal. Why kill yourself just then? Why not wait to see if you win the appeal? Didn't say he was innocent. I'm saying, from his perspective, because he was acquitted from the double murder (which was what prosecutors used as evidence to convict him in the first one), the appeal could have been won, making him a free man. That's why, from his perspective, it makes no sense to kill yourself. He could have soon been free. Being acquitted of that double murder changed EVERYTHING from the original conviction.
If Hernandez were to win his appeal, he'd need to rat on his friends he originally never did. With the evidence that doesn't count anymore because he was acquitted of the other murders+hernandez turning on his friends, means his gang wanted him dead to shut him up

He was already convicted for the murder of Odin Lloyd and was not going to get out of that one. He knew he was doing life and threw everything way for being an idiot. That's why he killed himself. Also probably to leave something for his daughter (even though his daughter would probably be better off with a father who was present).
Seriously people? He was convicted of first degree murder of Odin Lloyd. He was NOT getting out of prison just because he was acquitted of the two other murders. Lol. He was waiting on an appeal is all. He was not going to ever win the appeal in the Odin Lloyd case. The evidence was overwhelmingly against him.

He wasn't going to be freed. This was his second murder trial, he was already serving a life sentence.
Many lawyers disagreed with you and I stated this earlier. He was convicted of the first murder based on circumstantial evidence that was thrown out of the double murder. So in an appeal, the prosecution couldn't use the mass amount of evidence they used the first time. Then how can you tell me he'd be guilty beyond a reasonable doubt?
He did not live as a Boy Scout nor were his personal friends members of the Jr. Chamber of Commerse. BUT gang bangers ?
