We don't poison Canadian and Mexican politicians or install puppets friendly to our interests, nor have we tried (in recent history :D ) to steal their territory.

    No comparison.

And where is proof that this poisoning was done on behalf of Russia? Ukrainian politicians had years of time and plenty of eagerness to investigate the matter. Where is any direct proof of this accusation being anything but a fart? We do not live in dark ages, we're in XXI century. What's the problem with establishing actually how got poisoned a candidate on presidental elections?

Ehm ... sooo weak the JSDF is not. Maybe no real war experience since end of WW-2 etc., but looking on number and equipment they are for sure not weak in this!

But they are not nearly as stupid as the morons who think there is a military solution. North Korea is going to become a nuclear power. At least negotiating won't result in the deaths of a million plus people.

Your only option was to somehow pretend that the Great Negotiator is going to convince China to do something. Now if you have any actual thoughts as to why China would want to do that then you might be worth listening to. And Trump has already tried the tarriff threat and that has rapidly been abandoned.

Has China agreed to sanctions and practice them? Yes!
Has China biggest influence in NK? Yes!
    Is China wanting war? No!

This brings up the question why China is acting the way they do... and the answer is very simple:

China sees NK as a small satellite country, serving as a buffer to the US. An absloutues "No Go" for China are US soldiers at its direct land border ... speak USA attacked NK, occupied it and the US soldiers waved on the Yalu River to the Chinese border guards!

That is understandable? But what kind of a clearly yes!
Those fellow Americans who do notunderstand China here ... simple question: Do you allow Chinese Military in Mexico waving to the US border patrol? For sure not, eh? So why must China allow?
China is no banana country and eliminate the USA and the USA can eliminate them... so time for Trump to start to play the deal maker and make some deals that China sorts it out, what will of course cost something, because for free is rarely something and for sure not when this idiot in White House calls fro China to help in NK issue, but kicks in their butt with economic things!

The war would be more conventional and it would be a barrage of artillery. Those mountains are hiding some nasty pieces of weaponry. It would be an awesome test of strength.

Give a whole new meaning to "Airborne" :)

And once again you got a "Like" from me ... :-D

You are absolutely right because NK has about 10,000 and more Artillery Pieces of different bigger types. The whole country is like the Appalachians in the USA and full of hills, valleys, mountains, etc. ... so no desert as in Iraq.

And all this will end in a dirty and bloody war, which is no military walk. There is no question that the US win ... if China does not fight on the part of NK ... but at what price and what price is acceptable? Where is the pain of US public and people threshold for US losses?
As I said, it is not that I question here the capabilities of the US or something ... but NK can unfortunately bite back a long time and that also gives pain on US side ...

I think before it gets to the conventional war, China steps in, takes out Kim Jung Un, and installs their own government to keep us at bay.

This is the hope of all who make not a total shrug about the issue...

For China has 1 thing priority: No US soldiers on their direct borders on land!

And so the US need China this way or that way for it ... when real war is the clear "lesser good" option for all ... to smash away mad midget!
But right here my understanding for Trump ends unfortunately... because if you need someone to get something solved what the other has to do, you don't "ask somehow for their help" this day and then you kick in their butt at other issue of economics next day. ;-)

It is not going to get to a war between the US and North Korea and China is not going to go to war with North Korea either. Neither option has any probability of occurring. North Korea is going to become a minor nuclear power and the world will learn to live with it.

China doesn't need to go to war with NK. Get your facts straight. China already runs NK. They can go in, take Kim out, and put whoever they want in charge. That's going to happen instead of a war.

This post is also incredibly hilarious because it's not about nuclear power. It's about missiles being launched over sovereign nations igniting a fight

Read the thread genius. "North Korea fired Missile Over Japan". If we were going to go to war to stop them from building nukes it would have happened decades ago. This was a direct attack on a sovereign nation AND ally.

You need to sue whatever school you went to.

Read your last five posts and tell me which one mentions the missile over Japan.
Tell me where in your last five posts you said anything about a misdle flying over Japan. And while I might sue a college you could only sue a kindergarten.

Heck just for fun let us know the last post where you mentioned the missile over Japan.

What's 85% of NK's cashflow? Who controls that northern border?

It's like talking to someone who doesn't know anything about the NK issue. You need to read.

No, Kim doesn't listen to china, and all the China lover in NK already been kill by Kim. If china go in, it will have to invade NK with massive troop, that would be stupid for them to do so, consider entire china is within NK ballistic range, and why would they spend time/money/their soliders live to solve what they consider as US problem. Kims older brother was under china protection, but kim kill him at malasia
