None at all. But gangs of Muslim immigrant men are raping women in Europe. So the NY Supreme Court might consider that before making radical change to the dress code, or should I say, the undress code.

Not if they dress modestly and cover every body part that could be tempting.

women need to adapt and get with the program

Modesty in their culture is a body bag. Men can get away with raping a woman if she looks at them suggestively (even just her eyes being exposed is not enough 'modesty').

But we all know the truth- these men are rapists at heart and just looking for any excuse. Exposed breasts, exposed eyes, or simply no man in view to protect a woman are excuse enough for a rapist. The only laws we should be making to protect women are laws that allow them to protect themselves, and of course, harsh penalties for any physical assault.

    Thats what liberty is.

Now, they have them based on height. I don't remember that, just hearing about it. Don't care who is in front of me unless they spit on it. Then, I go find another. I don't need to catch a cold.

heck women could not even vote back in the day..... people see that gender equality is more important then they did in the old days

that is why I say if this goes to court, they would change the laws to neither men or women could go shirtless rather then allow women and girls to go topless

I doubt making men put shirts on as a federal law will ever happen.
Not some local laws may limit it in certain places, but I doubt there were be a complete ban on shirtless.

Yes context. People are already exposed to many things that they find sexually arousing in our society. Contextually: exposed men's breasts, reproductive organs and women's breasts barely covered by a tiny strip of tight, thin fabric (or just 'nipple stickers), navels, buttocks with bikini strings, exposed feet... Not only is sexual assault rare in both frequency and severity in our culture compared to many more 'modest' cultures despite our relative imodesty, its also not demonstrably linked to imodest dress or behavior (rapists claiming the contrary as an excuse is hardly credible- they would say anything except the truth: that they like to hurt and dominate people). Theres no objective basis for the presumption that allowing women to go topless will increase sexual assault in any meaningful capacity. Besides- women are still free to dress however they want. If they fear 'illiciting' sexual assault by dressing provacatively, they can dress conservatively.

I don't see what the issue would be; after all we all know what men and women look like. Are we embarrassed as too what our bodies look like without being covered?

Again, I see the hoopla against women here, especially against breast feeding an infant or the got milk - Picture on a Time magazine article and the lady received death threats !

    Ridiculous !!!

When I was 9 years old, I was in a small village, sitting next to a young lady, and she started to breast feed her baby, it was an intimate moment, something from the dim past of memory, and she shared the moment with me.

There is nothing wrong with a woman's body, Howsoever, her right to choose is sacrosanct.

Men oftentimes are ham handed, and err in such delicate intimate matters, not women.

Agreed. Yes. Showing dead people isn't a problem but show one female nipple and people go berserk.

It was only a century ago that a woman who showed a little ankle was titillating.

    https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/show_ankle
...the flirtatious practice by some young women, especially in the first half of the twentieth century, of raising a long skirt sufficiently to reveal a bare ankle but no more than that.

    I agree.
When I worked in E.M.S. and always in my private life, women have always been more important to me than simply their bodies and looks, I always respected women from the perspective of how I like to be treated.
Not as an object, but as a person.

I guess years of systematic abuse by men, formed my views on women.

I understand, DoctorWho, what you are saying, but you are bonkers if you think men as going to say, "hey, whatever you want, and we will stand aside."

And in a century, a nipple will be the same as an ankle 100 yrs ago.

Dancing the can can in a chorus line whilst wrapped up in more cloth, head to toe....... Today I can't stand either the music or the clothes.
Breast feeding an infant was never any big deal in my view, however many men want laws against it.

Men get raped not for how they dress, it is based on age and looks.
