Sheriff: Armed officer at school never entered building during shooting

Liberals don't have much of a clue about what the NRA is or does. Really what does the NRA do other than rate candidates and publish their ratings and give small amounts of funding to candidates? Liberals for whatever reason cannot except the fact that the NRA is a grassroots organization that derives whatever power it has from the collective actions of ordinary people. One would think that by definition liberals would applaud collective actions of ordinary people, that is if liberals were really liberal.

 

Msuch better to let them die defenseless than to have a chance. Look at how much damage it would do to your cause if one of these volunteers kills a shooter. Those lives just arent worth the risk.

 

In So Cal we have had two copycat mass shootings that were stopped with arrest and confiscations of the guns and ammunition that was going to be used by proactive law enforcement police departments so far this week.

It was students who have rejected political correctness indoctrination and weren't snowflakes who dropped a dime contacting the proper authorities that prevented these copy cat mass shootings.

 

To a cowardly liberal any thought of self defense is a paranoid fantasy. The weapon of choice for liberals is a rape whistle.

 

If the shooter was black Obama would recognize him as his son, an award would be put for the head of one of these volunteers, riots, destruction, violence etc...

If the shooter was not black, the children will be gathered at CNN to demand confiscation of guns, riots, destruction, violence etc...

Teachers all across the country are coming forward and asking to be armed. After proper training of course.

why do you want to pass more laws when law enforcement has demonstrated they wont properly enforce the laws we already have
background checks are only as good as the information given to the data banks

What a bunch of crap you're spewing. Perhaps a sheriff deputy failed these students along with the NRA. One individual is not the 'police'. It's an individual who apparently learned the hard way that he had picked the wrong career. Tragic? yes. But one man that froze when having to make a critical decision does not represent the nation's nor the world's police. Just as in military combat, many men do not know how they will behave until the bullets start flying. Not everyone is up to the task. Unless you've been there and know the answer you might perform just as that deputy did. He has since been dismisses/resigned which is appropriate.

 

You just cannot predict how a person will react in a given situation for the first time. You can train someone to hit paper target of clay pigeons but a human target fir the first time you do not know what will happen.

now if you come up with a solution that doesn't infringe on the rights of responsible law abiding citizen and prevent or guards against mass shootings the NRA would certainly jump aboard

This is a great business opportunity for people who work with Virtual Reality programs. You could have the prospective gun slinger strap on the gun in some fashion and then run the VR program of the school shooter. So when the gun slinger hears the bullets and sees the commotion and panic and comes across some nice looking little girl or smiling white boy school shooter will the gun slinger blast them away or freeze? That way you can determine who the gun slinger will be most likely to plug based upon racial and other characteristics of the shooter. You could get rich selling the program.

I agree but like I said before background checks are only as good as the information placed in its data banks
if you are never arrested even thou you placed a gun to someone's head, made other threats with a gun, brought ammunition and knives to school, had the police called on you 39 times, and posted on line that you are going to be a professional school shooter you will never be placed in those data banks and you will pass the background check
