    No, what Obama said was that HE, the "sitting president" (of the United States) was from Kenya. Please, do not (NOT) take my word for it... listen to what he SAID in the video. You on the Left believe every word this man has ever said -- so why do you not believe what he has said in this video? Oh, BTW, at no point in this short video clip did he say ONE WORD about his Father's having come from Kenya.... In fact, he didn't mention his Father in it at all!

    I didn't say one word about the State of Hawaii, now did I...? No, I commented on what Obama, HIMSELF, said in the video. Obama, HIMSELF. Don't take my word for anything -- listen to your "Master's Voice"....

    Yes...this was all "highly ethical":

    Allowing Putin to take control of 20% of our uranium reserves;

    Allowing the ILLEGAL EXPORT of yellow cake uranium;

    Reneging on the European Miissile Defense Shield because that's what Putin wanted;

    Secretly promising EVEN MORE "FLEXIBILITY" AFTER THAT BETRAYAL;

    Refusing the arm the Ukraine to fight back against Putin;

    Ordering our intel services to STAND DOWN, and NOT INTERFERE WITH RUSSIAN MEDDLING in the 2016 election?

    He also said that he first went to Kenya when he was 27 years old. He also talks about his father and grand-father. No surprise that the short clip misses out significant detail.

    C’mon cy, your better than that. He is referring to his lineage. He IS from Kenya by lineage, the same as almost every one of us is from another country by lineage. His father is from Kenya, so he is “from Kenya”. He is a US citizen and it has been proven more than once.

    You guys? Perhaps you have multiple people using that account but not this one.

    Obama laughs as its a joke, the rest joins in him laughing with you.

    Strange how you insist you arent a birther but try to draw that conclusion on a joke .

    I can't speak for Obama, but I've never stood in front of people and said I'm from Italy, my wife and never said I'm from Italy and my book publisher never said I'm from Italy. A lot of allegedly smart people keep making the same mistake.

    He may be exaggerating in this speech, he is corrupt, he does lie, and he is likely to be the most incompetent President in US history, but I don't believe he was actually saying he was born in Kenya,

    Semantics, nothing more. If you ask someone where they are from you will get a number of different answers depending on the person. One might answer, "I'm from Cleveland.", while another might answer, "My mother is from Jamaica.".

    What Obama did not say was, "I am the first American president to be born in Kenya." Which is the way you choose to hear the statement he made in order to support your narrative.

    Why People Believe Obama Encouraged “Illegals” to Vote
    http://nymag.com/selectall/2016/12/why-people-believe-obama-encouraged-illegals-to-vote.html
    In the segment, host Alisyn Camerota discovers that a pair of Trump supporters she is interviewing, part of a small panel, are quite convinced President Obama effectively invited undocumented immigrants to vote, contributing to voter fraud that could have tilted the election results.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Did Obama Encourage Illegal Immigrants to Vote? No, But ...
    https://www.dailywire.com/news/10546/did-obama-encourage-illegal...
    In an interview highlighted by Fox Business News' Neil Cavuto that's gone viral, President Barack Obama seems to encourage illegal immigrants to vote. In response to an ambiguously phrased question about illegal immigrants and voting, Obama gives an equivocal answer that many have interpreted as an open call for illegals to illegally vote.
    He’s just trying to make headlines. Since he’s being erased from presidential history by Trump.
    Personally, after all the harm he did to this country with his lies and autocratic rule, I don't care where Obama was born. I'm not even sure he was born... probably just found under a rock somewhere along with other loathsome creatures....
    BUT, given the fact that Obama rarely ever said anything that made any sense when he wasn't reading from a script prepared by his handlers, it is possible that this was simply another case of him bumbling and stumbling through some kind of silly, meaningless 'speech' for his loving admirers....
    So then it should come as no surprise that so did Obama Jr.
    It would certainly be No Big Stretch to assume it's possible.
    But that is not how Obama sycophants and Toadies responded
    to Birthers.They totally denied any possibility even given Obama
    Refusing to provide a Long Form Birth Certificate in June of 2008.
    Even though no one { Besided the guy that had it stolen;John Brennan }
    has ever seen Obama's Passport.
    Plus we all know how much a resemblance Obama has to his
    " supposed " mom { Anne Dunham } or Barack Obama Sr.
    There has never been a wedding license provided proving
    the Marriage of Barack Obama Sr. with Anne Dunham.
    As the OP already mentioned it wouldn't have mattered if he was born in Kenya anyways because as long as one parent is a citizen the child is considered a citizen and might have dual citizenship depending on the country. They must choose one country or the other by the time they are 24 or 25.
    Its just plain ignorance on the part of those who can't read the statutes, never had a US passport or ever traveled.
    That wasn't the law in effect at the time Obama was born. His mother wasn't old enough to satisfy the statutory requirement of automatic citizenship. So, if he would have been born outside US borders, he would have to become a naturalized citizen, and would have been ineligible to hold the office.
    But it's irrelevant, since it was proven beyond any and all reasonable doubt that Obama was born in Hawaii.
    There was enough evidence for anyone to know obama was born in the US, if after the short form & the birth notices from the newspapers at the time you still doubted you had alterior motives .
    The claim was stupid to begin with, after providing the evidence if you still doubted you were an idiot.
    Didn't Trump send a team of crack investigators to Hawaii to research this very thing? I don't recall ever hearing a status update as to the results of their investigation.
