The economy is booming like never before. He is making head way with Latinos and Blacks. Yet he never fails to step in it and never take the high road! King James has always been an clueless jock. He came right out of high school and his education is limited. It is not surprising he is clueles on most complex issues. However, love or hate him he stays out of trouble and is a good role model. The man just spent $9 mil of his own money to open a school to at risk kids! That is sainthood like move. He then dissed Trump and the man-child looked like an ass and attack James! He needs to learn when to stand and fight and when to take the high road. Why not say, “it is unfortunate Lebron feels that way, because I have nothing for respect for him. What he did for those kids by building that school is nothing less then amazing and he deserves great credit for it. We is a great admassador of basketball and the US!” If he took the high road and complemented Lebron, he could have turned it into a positive. Instead he looked like a petty, immature ass, that even angers a Trump support (and Lebron hater) like me.
Lambasting hypocritical LW celebrities gets Trump lots of traction in the center with people tired of celebrities having some mystical, unearned provenance when opining on politics or in campaigns. Not so sure his feud with James is going to hurt him, may even help. Not even sure that James could be characterized as "beloved" in many sports fan quarters either despite being one of the best players ever.
Trump gets attacked first and its his fault? lol And its not a sainthood move, its more than likely a tax write off recommended to him by his publicist.
He was unfairly attack by a guy that just spent $8 mil of his own money to open a school for under previlieged kids!
He attacked Trump first. He needs to figure out how to play in adult land. Opening up a school for children doesn't give a person the right to be an ass.
King James should stick to playing baskeball, and also, show some respect for the American Flag, the flag representing probably the only place on earth somebody could get paid millions for throwing a ball in a hoop.
I am not a fan of Lebron, but if you can’t respect and admire what he just did I feel sorry for you. Most of these athletes give nothing back to ththe community. My idol (I am from Chicago), Michael Jordan, gave nothing back to community.
