We see here the -real- motivation behind the insanity offered by the Democrats with regard to the Kavanaugh confirmation. See, they don't want to amend the constitution because it is too hard, too costly, and might cause them to lose elections -- and thus, their political power. Indeed, they'd rather get a court - preferably -the- court make the changes for them. Everything they do revolves around gaining and retaining as much partisan political power as they possibly can.
Your joking right? The republicans are the ones that have done everything in their power to subvert the will of the majority by using constitutional technicalities to prevent the democrats from destroying them politically.
Those " technicalities " were put in place precisely to avoid tyranny of the majority which is what you are advocating Sorry but the coastal left wing mega city shitholes do not get to dictate to everyone else.
I created a thread over a year ago on this subject. http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/proposed-constitutional-amendments.507699/
So how much of a majority is needed before the will of the people (who lean left) finally get to see policies that we want and not be stuck in the past with things only about 30% at most want? If the majority is not represented then its literal tyranny because the minority is deciding for the majority
Learn how the system works and win. If you can't win stop whining. Most of the people are not left wingers especially the radicals who have taken over the dnc
Most people want affordable college Most people want UHC Most people want a living wage tied to inflation Most people want basic things like paid leave and vacations to be guarenteed Most people want immigration reform. Most people want police reform
A lot more people would vote if they knew that their vote counted nationally. Why vote if you are a republican in cali or a democrat in texas?
Seen a poll recently? Stop watching fox. If the majority don't want this stuff then why are you against going to a system where the majority gets a majority of the representation? Can't have it both ways.
Yes and your wrong The majority does get more representation in the house You do not get it anywhere however as the founding fathers worked to avoid One good reason was to avoid the hairbrained schemes of the fringe groups . Those are the only ones supporting your ideas.

I always vote, I am sure when the democrats take the house and senate you will then be completely fine with what ever they pass as its how the system works right?
