OK. We used different definitions for the word: 'excuse'.

I, by default, go with: "NOUN 1. A reason or explanation given to justify a fault or offence."

Apparently, you are using: "NOUN 1.1 A reason put forward to conceal the real reason for an action; a pretext."

Until now, I was unfamiliar with that usage.

    Thanks for the clarification!

I've seen many posts like those phony writings on youtube which say the same thing - that it was some librul who is responsible for the bombs. As always, right wingers can never accept the concept of personal responsibility for anything.

Isn’t that how law enforcement often works? They have a suspect, or person of interest, that they think may be involved in criminal activity, but they can’t arrest them without probable cause, and they certainly can’t expect to get a conviction in court without solid evidence.

I would imagine that there are many people who’d fit that description. But that’s not conspiracy. It’s policing a “free” society where presumption of innocence is key. There’d be a lot fewer of these nuts around if law enforcement could simply jail and make disappear anyone they suspect of wrongdoing.

But that’s not a society that I’d want to live in.

You will tell yourself whatever you need to tell yourself.

Excusing Trumpery because Sayoc is a crackpot ignores the reality that he is a Trump crackpot.

It doesn't smell like conspiracy, but rather like extended Trumpism.

Responsibility, once the coin of the realm for Republicans. is just not of a feature of Trumpery.

A likely GOP presidential nominee in 2020:

"Even Newt Gingrich supported the idea of an individual mandate, insisting on personal responsibility.... But it's not like it was a liberal idea. It was a conservative concept."

"It was seen as a conservative idea to say, you know what? People have a responsibility for caring for themselves if they can. We’ll help people who can’t care for themselves, but if you can care for yourself, you gotta take care of yourself and pay your own bills."

    ...................................................Willard Romney
Lyin' Don is far too morally deficient to accept responsibility for anything adverse. His narcissistic insecurity compels him to lash out at someone else, anyone else.

Well, there is a matter of law. You can't exile American citizens. You can imprison them, which is what should happen should he be found guilty.

You can't exile citizens. You can exile immigrants who break the law.

Please point out illegal aliens that have served their time in the US military. Yes, legal aliens are allowed to and do serve, but known illegals cannot.

I wish one of the choices had been -- "He's a crazy bastard who has given Democrats a stick to beat the sh*t out of the rest of us!"

He seems like a distinctly average trumpkin to me so yeah, a crazy bastard.

The only defining and differing feature is he actioned the trumpkin rhetoric rather than stab it out angrily on a spittle encrusted keyboard.
