Tucker Carlson on Left-Wing 'Mob' and Media: 'They're Water Carriers for the Democratic Party'

I do agree most of the media are carrying the water for the Democratic Party especially on CNN and MSNBC. But Fox is doing the same for Trump and the Republicans. There isn't an objective voice or any reporting the news fairly, fully and accurately on any of the 24 hour news channels.

Perhaps the media is giving us what we want to hear. If on be a democrat, one knows you can tune into CNN and MSNBC and get your news slanted in favor of the Democratic Party. Fox is the reverse, slanted in favor of Trump and the Republicans. A sort of pick your own poison.

 

Any decent fact checker provides source material so readers can see for themselves the evidence behind their claims.

So who checks the fact checkers?

We do. (Or at least we can, if interested enough.)

It appears Fox News has much to make up for.

 

I watch MSNBC and CNN, and those two outlets are slanted left. They are however, like Fox News, more about commenting on the news than reporting it.

I don’t watch NBC, CBS, or ABC network news. But i’m under the impression that they are more of the old school reporting about the incidents of the day and not indulging in endless punditry.

You might be seeing through the same lens as trump, where negative news is considered biased against him, instead of seeing that he’s doing negative things that are making the news. That’s how I see it. Trump has shattered the record for being an impulsive, erratic, and irresponsible president. It’s not even close. It’s totally understandable why that’s reflected in the news.

 

I watched that debate. It was a good one, and civil, given Tucker was in it and was serious and not there to hurl bombs. This kept Cenk in check.

After watching it, hell, Tucker talked like an old democrat, a liberal, from my younger years. If you want to know what the old democrats were like, listen to Tucker in this debate. And if you want to know why I despise the DP and modern liberals today, listen to Tucker, who sounds like what the DP once was, in large part. Lots of common sense there.

The older conservatives and the older liberals could compromise because they were more along the lines of Tucker, and say Rubin(has a podcast and is on the liberal side). Reasonable people, with common sense and not so tribal to the core, with all of the pettiness that comes with that.

 

They are actually worse. There is discernible slant in almost every one of the "news stories" they cover, yet they do it under the guise of reporting the news and journalism. At least Op-eds disclose what they are.

 

Coming from a guy who has spent his whole professional life carrying water for any idiotic action promoted by any Republican, his words ring very hollow. Carlson cheered Cheney/Bush war profiteers all the way and has been a Trump kiss ass ever since it became apparent that Trump won the nomination. Tucker is and always has been a joke.

 

I find it quite amusing that so many Complex Left apologists attempt and fail to create false equivalencies between the few nonleft sources of media and the vast gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-trial lawyer-MSM Complex hegemony in not only cable news, but the Big Three, print newspapers and magazines, television talk-late night-drama-comedy, Hollywood, all filled to the brim with LW-statist/Democrat political messaging.

My mother, for example, loves Rachel Ray and Ellen D. One is ostensibly a cooking show, the other talk-giveaway-variety. So why have I never seen a single episode of either that does not contain Complex/Democrat messaging, if not outright political advocacy? I was actually watching with my Mother when this atrocity was aired, couldn't believe it:

The Alphabet New Sources have been slanted longer than CNN and MSDNC. NBC was the Leader of that pack. Before they even had an MSDNC.

Naturally Trump allows his mouth to overload his brain at times. But then in reality he is firing back against 5 corporations owned by the Leftness. Who have been playing their game long before Trump ever came along. Oh and that's just with televised media.

Oh and one thing about Fox News.....they ask tough questions of Repubs and they do put Repubs in the Hot seat. Also Fox news has no trouble calling the Repubs out.

I contend that the viewer can also tune into ABC, CBS, and NBC/MSNBC to get leftist inundated regarding perspectives with anything Right of Center thrown in as an after thought and then sneered at. When NBC first went into the political propaganda game by owning MSNBC the jig was up; and especially when ABC and CBS failed to denounce NBC for essentially declaring that it was now working for the interests of the Dem Party.

Or in other words ABC and CBS are just as politically corrupt as NBC and all three traditional broadcast networks function as the permanent propaganda arms of the DNC.

 

Although I agree the three major over the air networks give their news a leftest tilt, it certainly is as overt as cable.

Indeed. This news maker interview of Carlson was obviously an editorial opinion interview. I’m just glad we have another 24 hr cable news channel not a part of the msm.

Perhaps it is because you and your colleagues regularly find themselves parroting a false claim that they got fed by their media. It happens literally every day here now. Right wingers have provided us with a veritable cornucopia of conspiracy theories, false memes, ridiculous claims, inverted realities, and just plain lies.

Which is what happens when you only choose sources that tell you what you already believed.

I have no particular use for fact checking sites. I prefer to check facts for myself and walk back stories to the sources and know who the man behind the curtain is.

Trumpsters do none of these things. It's far easier to parrot Trump's lastest lie or made up rant. And you all take what you hear and read at face value, and never fact check anything.
