So the federal government decides whether the constitution restricts its powers. Um, yeah. That will always work out perfectly.
You prove my point - "I'm happy with that way things are thus far". Which means you are not satisfied with the situation, you cannot just walk away and agree to disagree.
Damn right. I will never stop trying to defend the Constitution and the rights it enumerates and protects. I have to question the sanity of those who think that dismantling rights is somehow a way to "protect" them.
The supreme court is now just another legislative body. If all it did was verify some law or regulation or legislation was compatible with the Constitution, then all justices would be originalists and there would be no "obama judges" and "bush judges" and "Trump judges". And confirmation hearings would be simple and unemotional. But none of that is true because the judiciary has become activist and legislative. And they are often wrong.
Wanna bet? I just did. LMAO. Happy Holidays my friend. Maybe someday we'll both finally agree on something.
Who’s the authoritarian? If I see you with a gun, I could careless, unless you are “using” it unlawfully. If you see me with a gun, you want me to have a permit, get permission to buy it and limit the type and mag capacity.
The problem with you authoritarians is you don’t observe boundaries. The fact that you don’t let children handle guns is no different than you don’t let them play with fire. Yet, do we have laws for children playing with fire? Do we limit how many matches they can have in s box? It is clear you are playing your authoritarian games as usual. If we have regulations on children with guns, that opens your pandora box to 1984. Grow up.
I know. I'm glad you support the right of preschoolers to be able to carry guns. I mean did I wake up on russia??? This is america. Freedom baby Merica
