I am suggesting that the level of sickness is the issue, not the amount of access to doctors.

It's easier to get doctor salaries down by increasing the supply that help Americans be healthier.

Do you have an end game, or do you just not like doctors?

I'd like to see us increase the number of doctors by 33%.
Oh, c'mon--why should doctors benefit financially from a physician shortage?

No sorry but look at any chart of employment and you will, see that Trump has made absolutly no difference in the trajectory of the unemployment numbers. We do give him credit though for going almost two years without screwing up the economy Obama left.

That said Trump tax cuts for corporations did make major improvements to actual GDP for two quarters. Of course that is about it. Next yearis projected to be well below 3.0% however.

So you're okay with a sick population?

And your solution is? Granted that the Republican plan does seem to be to let the sick die for lack of care but my guess is that will still only reduce the total percentage of the sick by a small amount and even that may be offset by the Republican efforts at elimininating any requirement for preventative care or testing.

Of course not. I taught school for three decades. Do you think I wanted my students to grow up and be sick?

Still at it? Real wages have declined since Trump took office.

Real economic growth is about what it was in 2014 without the big Trump deficit.

Unrmployment was steadily coming down and Trump only continued a ten year trend.

The deficit was going down and now it's going up.

Please stop pushing BS about the Trump economy.

What is really strange to me is that we raise military spending cut taxes and then get out of all the wars

The withdrawals were being discussed it's just disturbing that Trump just jumps the gun and doesn't use consensus rule

I hope you can agree the consensus is that we don't know what trumps sense is

I believe that was an asset in his campaign?

I consider it a huge security risk

Says the trumpster. Confusion is required to have affection for that clown. Again, crying for tax cuts is pointless, useless, and has shown to be ineffective. Keep blowing that horn of idiocy.

By all means, continue getting thrashed in this thread.

Every chart of employment shows Trump doing better than Obama. Every one. Period.

GDP is up. GDI is up.

The Democrats will do their best to bring them down for political reasons. We'll see if they succeed.

Judging from the responses from the lefties on this thread you are dealing with a group of extreme idiots who have no interest in objectivity and no understanding of economics. As Howard Zinn stated 'objectivity is undesirable'. If these folks were truly objective they would quickly determine that their posts are ludicrous.

So you're one of these folks that says every graph shows it and then can't post one that does

Let me make another guess do you know how to read a graph?

You know darn well what I pointed out is accurate. We're not doing the things we really need to do to get sustained higher growth.

Corporations don't pay taxes. They collect them. From us. They're just a hidden sales tax that we consumers have no idea how much we're paying for.

Sometimes business can pass along 100% of a tax to consumers, but other times they have to pay some of the tax themselves.

And in all cases consumers pay higher prices which reduces economic growth.

We're going to see how popular Trump is when the economy slows next year.

No, that's not the way it works. If the business tax replaces, say, a personsl income tax, consumers msy have more to spend.
