The efforts to get the wall going have been active since day one. That might be called "Trying". We don't know how much gain will actually result from the trade negotiations Trump pulled off with Mexico- but we do know it was on our side, and pretty significant. Looks like wall or not- Mexico IS paying us more.

I don't think you can recognize a lie. Otherwise, your choice of words would change...

I agree that they are in disarray; I think it is getting progressively worse. However if I was in a party and they came with a bonkers idea like the green Deal- I'm be sneaking out the back door and shedding any connection to them as fast as I could.

I find it amazing that anyone could vehemently oppose the wall, and endorse the Green Deal at the same time. The disconnect of logic and rationality is just mind-boggling. Seems like they are afraid to criticize or reign in their own new people.

 

You don't understand. I am having the time of my life. I love writing about Trump. There is a continuous supply of material. He is, without a doubt, the dumbest President we have ever had and his fans prove it. They are totally incapable of defending him. They avoid the truth, attack the critic, make wisecracks, and try to change the subject.

Some are even concerned about my health. What a joke that is.

Look at the threads they are interested it. They love talking about Democrats, socialism, health issues, anything but Trump. That is pure irony. The last person Trump's fans want to talk about is Trump.

 

Get the Dems out of his way, and see how fast the promise gets kept.

I think it's true all politicians tell untruths. Some of that is lies, some of it is poor speculation or poor memory. Some of it is simply telling people what they want to hear, because if you told them the truth they would act stupidly. Everybody want's free stuff, everybody want to blame others for all their problems- and politicians by votes from voters not wise enough to know that nothing is truly free/

Trump never tried to get Mexico to pay one dollar for the wall. Show me directly how the Democrats stood in his way for that. Be specific. The Democrats would love it if someone else paid for border security.

This movement was in my opinion brought on by Bernie Sanders. At least amplified to new heights by him. Yes, it is insane and yes, there are sane Democrats.

Reflecting on 2016, there is an old adage in politics. Go right or left in the primaries, then toward the center for the general election. I think this was part of Hillary's problem. She went way left during the primaries, then stayed way left trying to appease Sanders voters and the Democrat's far left base. In the end, it turned off independents who gave their vote to Trump. Of course Hillary had a lot of other problems and baggage, but having to stay way left certainly didn't help her.

Your point about France is also well taken. Look at our own past, then taxes got too high in the Northeast, people and business's moved south to a more tax friendly environment. You also saw when federal taxes and regulation got too much, movement overseas by businesses.

One last thing, speaking of New York. I saw a commercial about New York today on TV. New York is trying to entice businesses, companies to move to New York state by offering any business that moves there, no state taxes for 10 years. I wonder how this makes the businesses in New York that have been there forever feel?

That’s good. I wish good health on everyone. And happiness. I’m glad Trump is providing both.

I don’t talk about Trump much because I don’t care about whatever dumb thing he says. I don’t care about anything but him fulfilling a few campaign promises.

Rodney Dangerfield was amusing in Caddyshack but I’m no going to go around all day talking about it and rehashing every scene. There are just better things to do for me.

We’ve had such a string of crappy presidents I don’t know why everyone gets so worked up over this one.

I think you support tRUMP and have no problem with him removing all doubt about him being a fool with every tweet.

 

I bet it's him demeaning of most all groups of people that get people worked up. And likely the barrage of overt lies. But that is my opinion.

Rodney Dangerfield isn't our President. Dangerfield didn't close down our government because he didn't get his way. Dangerfield didn't collaborate with a hostile foreign government during an election. Dangerfield didn't order a surrender in Syria to give Russia control of the region.

Dangerfield was a very funny man who should be enjoyed, not talked about.

They got theirs when they were President. They aren't President anymore. Trump is. Nothing has changed.

 

Can you cite the bill handed to Trump to sign that would have stopped the shut down?

What Democrats supported the bill to keep it open?

Go to the head of the line if you reply back. Trump never had a thing to sign.
