Because he never makes it easy on people investigating him. it does not matter if he is guilty or innocent. He sees any investigation as an attempt at harming his reelection and as a personal attack. It is how he has always done business as well. Make it too expensive and hard to ever do anything to him. Or at least make it seem that way. So far for the most part it is working.

I am SURE that there are a lot of democrats who are so embarrassed by their party that they will either vote for Trump or not vote at all. This is going to backfire on the Democrats big-time and Biden will be toast after this is looked at closer. The Democrats will have to drop impeachment like a hot potato, and it will make them look even worse than they do now. Unless you are using the term Democratic as an adjective, you are using it incorrectly. I am fairly certain that the term is not intended to be an adjective, thus adding an "ic" to the noun "Democrat Party" is grammatically incorrect. Granted, it is a very commonly used grammatical error, but a grammatical error nonetheless.
In truth...who cares? I surely don't, but I have noticed that you frequently get your panties in a bundle over the issue. When someone uses the term Democrat Party or Democratic Party, I understand fully what is intended. I dont bogusly pretend like I have no idea what they are talking about. I try to behave like an adult.

I view the Trump administration as an egg with a tough shell. There is a lot of interesting stuff in that egg. Mueller and six other Congressional Committees have left hairline cracks in the shell which has weakened it. The big hammer fell and the shell broke. Now there is an incredibly gooey mess all over the place demanding somebody to clean it all up.

What was the powerful magic hammer? Trump was caught red handed attempting to collude with a foreign government to help sway our election to himself. He encountered resistance so he stopped military aid to that country, then gave the president of that country a phone call. Visualize Don Corleone making a call to a powerful, influential person in government about a subject of importance to the Don. Okay so, let's take it from there. After the call, nothing. Then the whistle blower report hit the newsstands and ZIP! like magic the $250 billion flew to Ukraine.

Collusion is bad, extortion is worse, and attempting to use a foreign government to help you get elected is worst. This was the last straw, the final blow, the atom bomb that hit Washington. Tump quickly realized he really can't shoot somebody on 5th Avenue and get away with it. So our little Moron in Chief called the hated Nancy Pelosi and asked to make a deal. Nancy said, "here's the deal, obey the law." Then, if that weren't enough, the GOP Senate voted unanimously and ordered Trump to produce the whistle blower testimony and telephone transcripts. OMG! Trump just lost Moscow Mitch!

Here's my personal "told ya so" item. A couple of months back I warned Trump lovers their boy god probably wouldn't be around for the 2020 election. He''d make a pardon deal with Pence, leave Dodge, and occupy a dacha in or around Moscow. I stand by that. As Trump loves saying, we'll see how it works out.

I still don't believe anything will come of it, since all the other horrific violations of the Constitution have gone unpunished. But it's telling that Mitch is apparently leading this charge when he's up for re-election next year.

 

And also in 1974, when leveled against Tricky Dick. Im 33 and I've yet to meet a single person that will admit to having been against his impending impeachment.

It's not something to issue lightly, but if you believe Clinton deserved to be ousted overly lying about a blow job, Trump definitely needs to go for the two-and-a-half years' worth of gaslighting the nation.
