I fully agree. They are not weighing what is good for America. It's all partisan, regardles of the magnitude of the crime.

Beyond that, McConnell and his state have benefitted from a $200M Russian investment that was timed perfectly with McConnell's success in ending sanctions against Russia - even though 11 Repubulicans along with Democrats were opposed to doing so. McConnell has also been instrumental in blocking attempts to secure our elections from Russian and other foreign influence.

The swamp is getting larger, NOT smaller.

No, it's one of those inconvenient truths. Don't worry, the GOP will reclaim the House and end this slow death of a nation by investigation the Democrats love so much.

Given the findings of the Princeton Study a few years ago , no one but special interests were being represented, our govt was intolerable already and that is why trump won.

Govt was already operating at the whale **** level prior to trump and as they say about whale ****, that you can't get any lower than that...Trump would have been an improvement. Haha

Did Biden break the law? If he has then his political position, a candidate for higher office, becomes incidental.

What becomes a matter for prosecution then is that a then setting Vice President and former Senator sold influence to a foreign power.

It is the Executive Branch's legal obligation to enforce the law. Trump therefore had to act for the good of the nation and to enforce the law as well as uphold and defend the Constitution. He took an oath.

Frankly, I think Biden is guilty as hell. It's inconceivable that Biden's son was worthy of the millions he was paid and the billions in assets he was given control over.

Here's your quid pro quo. Biden took money from foreign powers and advocated the policy they dictated using his influence as VP to do so as well as his vote on legislation when he was a Senator.

Republicans ARE what's good for America, what's left of it after 8 years of Obama.

Don't make excuses for Trump.. He's impulsive, not bright, unprepared and uncontrollable.

Ok, then we should work with the process set up to determine that guilt and charge them as evidence presents itself. Are you really saying that telling a foreign nation to dig up some information on a political candidate that is running against me and I will release billions of US dollars to you? Why wasn’t biden investigated 2 years ago? Or when republicans held both chambers of government for the last half decade?

But you are probably not ok with the House doing their constitutional duty to investigate the president or the allegations of the Obama white house investigating a known criminal are you?

trump does not act for the good of the nation, he acts for the good of his ego.

Such an absurd narrative you are trying to run to.

I would agree that our government has had a corporate takeover.

When we give corporations the rights of humans, that's what one gets!

An economy that recovered after the two major catastrophes of the Bush administration - economic collapse and trillions of dollars conquering ME countries without justification or benefit.

Now, Trumpets think we're doing well because we managed to dig out of the recession.

But, that's coming with a TRILLION DOLLAR deficit at a time when we have a pretty good economy!

Yes. Trump IS the major problem.

But, that doesn't excuse McConnell for selling himself to Russia for local profit including personal political benefit.

Meanwhile the impeachment inquiry continues. Do you think John Bolton will testify?

The checks and balances are in place and intact. "Impeachment Inquiry" isn't a check, its political theater. Politics nothing more.

The real checks Congress has are impeachment, funding, the vito, advice and consent for appointments and treaties etc.

    Vote to impeach the m'fr.

The problem is the votes aren't there, so the left fights this in the political realm acting as though it's some legal process.

Let me guess; you were elected in a closed door hearing conducted in the basement of Congress.

    No Defense of Trump??

Whats the point? Can anyone who hates Trump tell me that they would like him if all the crimes he's constantly accused of were somehow to be proven false (love how we have to prove innocence now...)?

    No.

He's still gonna piss you off by just not being PC and speaking off the cuff.

We'll 'defend' Trump at the polls in 2020, and all the rabid lunatics who fly off the handle when someone won't hate Trump with them will be left wondering where all the support was hiding. Again.

(hint- when you create echo chambers, the opposition don't cease to exist. You just stop noticing them ...until they vote 8))

It was US policy that the corrupt prosecutor, Shokin, needed to be removed. It was the policy of our allies along with the WTO. Shokin was not investigating Burisma at the time of his removal nor did he ever investigate Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden was paid $50,000 per month for sitting on the board. There were never any other payments. Most people who sit on boards are well compensated. You would be hard pressed to find a board member anywhere who was worth what he or she was paid.

    I bet he does.

But I want to revisit the talking point that you made earlier which was basically, "trump will win in 2020, deal with it."

Politicians who will be voting on impeachment do not have the benefit if waiting a full year to see of trump can possibly replicate the inside straight draw victory of winning because he got ~80k more votes, total, across three states.

They have to make decisions based on the currently existing evidence, both for the actual charges for impeachment and the currently existing polls.
