CNN is the last thing we need in this country.

CNN is clearly biased. I was watching the news conference today, and switched back and forth between CNN and FOX News. I was looking at the footnotes at the bottom of the screen
on CNN, and it was off the wall. They were saying President Trump was changing history. They said he was angry,etc. The mainstream media doesn't like the President standing up to them, and calling them out.
It's clear what their agenda is, but it's not working. The American People see their hypocrisy. Their ratings are going down, and the Presidents ratings are going up. They would rather see more deaths and the economy tank just so they can win in November.
The clowns who watch and believe what they say are anti-American. We should be united in both parties, that would give us the greatest power as a nation. There have been things that the President has said in the past, but I can't think of a better person to sit in that Oval Office right now than President Trump.

 

Trump is a terrible person to be leading this country right now. His administrative style has always been to pit people in his cabinet against each other - hell, he built an entire reality show based on back stabbing and conflict. Trump has been a divisive character since his election and he's been disliked by the press and media for decades.

We needed someone calm and and bland in the White House right now. We sure as hell didn't need a Drama Queen.
It could have been a Republican or Democrat. Just someone who didn't make everything all about himself. A low key character. An Eisenhower type. A Colin Powell. Trump was the wrong man at the wrong time and now were standing in line for toilet paper ... might as well have a Venezuelan dictator.

 

So Fox makes you feel good about your tin god and CNN doesn't. Hmmm, now what could that possibly mean.

A man who called for extreme torture, the mass murder of tens of thousands of people, who called for violence, a perpetual liar and con man who resorts to schoolyard bully tactics, who makes everything a personal attack, a man who attacks the foundations of liberty at every turn, who attacks judges and the CIA and the FBI and war heroes and generals, the free press, anyone who doesn't support him, and the parents of dead soldiers...

Okay, we know what you consider to be your kind of man..

Just curious, people watching CNN could see what was happening and you are worried about the banners? Do you think CNN has armies of viewers watching the banners and ignoring what is on camera?

 

Well since Air Travel is virtually nonexistent, CNN won’t be able to hold people at airports hostage.

Trump just declared himself to be a king.

 

CNN is straight trash. It's clear they were wrong about everything from the beginning. If we had listened to them, we'd still be testing people at the airport like Europe attempted. Trump probably saved Europe from an even bigger disaster when he banned travel. European travel was proven to have rapidly spread the virus to five continents, and is responsible for more than double the cases in the U.S. The Chinese strain was manageable as evidenced by the West Coast. The fact that Biden came out against the ban on March 20 by arguing that it's racist sealed the election for me.

CNN doesn't even understand the basics of virus transmission. Travel and transit causes it to spread. The major cities will be impacted for the remainder of the year with possibly huge case counts popping up in urban areas. No CNN. It isn't racism that's causing African Americans to suffer disproportionately from the virus. Poor white hicks have the same health problems and similar inability to access healthcare and healthy foods, but they live in rural areas with fresh air and wide open spaces. Their entire life-style is social distancing, while the urban environment with apartment domiciles and transit necessity, makes it difficult to avoid viruses.

 

No he didn't. He said his authority was total in regards quarantines. This is the problem with CNN, they lie to their audience, and then their viewers come on the forum and lie. The President does have total authority that was granted by congress per the commerce clause. Under section 361 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S. Code § 264), the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services is authorized to take measures to prevent the entry and spread of communicable diseases from foreign countries into the United States and between states. This authority was provided to congress under the commerce clause. Section 361 of the PHSA gives Trump the authority to lock down the country via the commerce clause, and it can be used with other legislation to allow businesses to open up at his discretion.

In other words, you'd want the same ol' slick talking politician. Not one of the other candidates cared about middle class jobs being outsourced. Not one cared about unfair trade agreements. Not one cared about getting us out of agreements that were one sided or would crush the working class while getting nothing in return. Not one cared about the rule of law. Trump is rough around the edges but he's getting things done that none of the rest had the guts to accomplish. No, the others always look to their political future and chicken out when the big decisions have to be made.

 

When you have Napolitano, Wallace, Smith, and Brazile, I can see why you'd say Fox is biased.

 

If you're on the Right you have to hate CNN. If you're on the Left you have to hate FOX. That pretty much sums it up. Carry on.

The 180 degree turn around is amazing. CNN used to be the pinnacle of journalistic news, and when they opinionated it was clearly labeled and known as such. All of that under that wild and crazy flaming liberal Ted Turner no less. Then he sold CNN into oblivion to Warner, like Schwab sold his successful business into disaster at Bank of America.

Fox is the last thing we need in thus country. CNM is simply grilling Trump on his optimism concerning the outbreak. Can’t think of a better person? Let’s see, there’s already been a few scandals and higher turnover in this administration than Bush and Obama combined. There’s a clear case of nepotism, with Kushner in the WH. We have the Ukraine scandal, the doctored tweet on Air Force One, the Flynn scandal, let’s be legit here. You would be setting a Democrat ablaze for this instead of looking the other way. Am I really Anti American for watching journalists do their job? I could watch yes men for Trump on Fox all day or I could watch Trump be tested to offer solid rationale for his contradicting statements.

 

A significant difference is that, unlike Trump's, Bush's and Obama's scandals had reality behind them. You evidently prefer CNN because their reporting of fake news and fairy tails fits right in with your reverie.

 

We should go easy on the idiots who think that President Trump is so evil. Political Correctness has also been a major problem. Some people are offended over everything, so I can see why they would be offended because of Trump. I really don't care if he banged women in the past, or says things that would offend a fruitcake. He cares about people. He cares about Blacks and Hispanics. I do care about people dying and jobs that people need to survive. President Trump is the man who will fix it, and contrary to what they wish for he will be re-elected because of that.

Unless the story has been retracted, it’s not fake or a fairy tale. A president deserves to be grilled over comments. If you like right wing yes men like Tucker Carlson who assassinate the left, I won’t stop you from putting your head in the sand. Trump doesn’t like to be grilled on his own words, he thinks he has “absolute power,” remember? Also thinks he’s the “chosen one” too. That’s why he attacks journalists simply doing their job.

Fake news is anything someone doesn't want to hear; the fact that it is true is irrelevant. I suggest anyone who wants to call something "fake" should show how it is false. I would also expect that opinion should never be considered true, fake, or false. It is opinion.
